We contracted Rosado Custom Homes to do a renovation on our home which included the tearing down of our one car garage and rebuilding a two car garage in its place. As part of the building, Rosado Custom Homes apparently subcontracted **** ******* DBA ****** ******** **** ******* *o install two overhead doors in the garage. There were several delays in the building project itself so instead of being started in the Spring and completed by the Fall, the project was not started until the end of August and finished in mid February. Although the garage doors were installed, I believe in October, we did not have access to the garage as the builders were still doing finishing work inside as well as using the space to store their equipment and supplies. We were finally able to access the garage towards completion of the project in the beginning of February. At that time we discovered that one of the doors was not working properly. It opened up fine but randomly did not close properly. We have the name and phone number of the sub contractor that did the garage door installation and have called him multiple times over the last 2 months to please come fix the problem. As of this writing he has shown up once and sprayed WD-40 on the tracks which was his solution to the problem. Unfortunately, the problem of the door not closing has gone on and on. He did say in one of our conversations that it was a sensor that was not working properly which makes sense to us. At this point we are terrible frustrated that this new construction project still has a garage door that does not close and would like some help in getting it fixed. I have also contacted one of the principles there , Andrew Rosado, about the problem telling him that the guy says he will come fix it but never shows up. His response was that that was typical of the sub contractor **** ******* (###-###-####) and that he would contact him come fix the problem.
