On 9/28/2023 I went to Bel air auto in ******* ** to look at a truck that was for sale. I liked what I saw and the owner Greg mentioned to me that there were things on the truck that he was going to fix before selling it. Greg asked for $500.00 to hold the truck, I stated to him i didn't feel comfortable leaving $500.00 but i would leave $250.00 to hold the truck. I then stated that I wanted to think about it and talk it over with my wife and do further reseach. He agreed so I left $250.00 using my debt card. I explained to Greg that I was not in a rush to purchase a truck. He stated that's ok because the repairs would take approximately 2 weeks. Greg also stated that he was going on vacation the following week and I said that was ok because again I am not in a rush to purchase a truck. Within the 2 week passing I had to go out of town for a family emergency and ended up using the money I had for the truck. When I returned I contacted Greg and told him I was no longer in a position to purchase the vehicle and requested my money back. Greg stated he didn't care about my situation and wasnt giving me the money back. Then he went on to say "do you think I works for free, the things I did on the truck cost money". I then stated the things you were doing to the truck were in place before I approached him with any intrest in the vehicle. Then Greg stated that I signed the paper that says deposit is nonrefundable. I replied that I didn't sign the paper because it stated nonrefundable so I never signed anything.
