Flash car wash has been charging my debit card twice per month for a monthly membership. When I explained my situation, the car wash refused to refund me for those double charges. They said they would remove the second charge going forward however I am still getting double charged.Business response

I purchased a Flash Car Wash Unlimited Pass in ****** ** around March/April 2022. I was on a monthly plan that was automatically deducted on the 28th of each month. Instead of cancelling my plan when I came back north in June I kept the plan because the ****** Car Washes in the *********** area were on the plan. I paid my Flash Pass on July 28 2022. On August 1 I went to the ****** Car Wash on ********* ** ** **** *********** and was told that my Flash Pass was not valid. After spending a long time with Christian the manager we found out that the store I bought my Flash Pass in ******* was no longer in the program. And since my Flash Pass was purchased in ******* I therefore was no longer a member of Flash Car Wash even though the charge on July 28 2022 stated a Flash Car Wash deduction. I was never informed that my Flash Pass was expiring prior to my deduction - if I was informed I would have cancelled my plan. I would like for my July payment to be credited back to my account as I have already cancelled the August payment with the ****** ** location.
