Let me tell you guys something, ignore any idiot that complains about problems that Johnny tells them beforehand; CarBones is the one stop shop for everything, need auto body? CarBones. Need general repairs? CarBones. Need just a simple small oil change? CarBones. Need a huge job done? CarBones. Need paint? CarBones. These guys do it all you don’t have to go to a different shop for a different type of work. Just one place for everything you need. While Johnny is the owner and the best there is, no one talks about the other guys who work alongside Johnny, they’re equally as awesome and talented as Johnny is. These guys work late too, so whenever you need a quick fix/job they’ll most likely be open. I’ve been coming here for years now and since I’ve moved out of state to **, I still only trust these guys to do work on me AND my wife’s car; my car’s engine died and I’ve had It towed to the shop to do the engine job because Johnny worked with me on the price and because I only trust them to do the work. They make sure the little intricate details are done which is just one of the things that made me keep coming back. When I first met Johnny he fixed my car’s hood latch on one of my cars that was broken for years for nothing. Just go here and stop looking at other reviews and you’ll see what I mean.

This a rating for John Carbone’s acts of kindness, compassion, empathy and integrity. We live out of town but our son was in an emergency situation last night. Due to our son’s privacy I won’t go into detail. We even offered John compensation for helping us. He humbly said no but that he would gladly help us the best he could; and he did. This is the type of person you want to do business with! He went above and beyond to help a random stranger. Believe me! He was our Angel last night! Thank you John Carbone! Bless you and yours! We’re forever grateful! ????

This is the absolute best auto shop ive ever come across. John the owner is the most honest and reliable mechanic u will find in CT. I now send my mother to him and anyone i come in contact with looking for a shop. A+ work.. cant say enough good things!

How dare you leave such a terrible review!!! This man goes above and beyond for his customers. You must have not finished paying him and from his big heart he trusted you to pay. Did you not check the oil like he told you to??? Were you supposed to add some??? Duh!!! I am truly sorry this happened to your daughter if it is even true (really, what are the chances the fire Marshall was behind her). And of course he cares about his business. Anyone who has any kind of business is going to care about it. He has employees to and an investment look out for. This is not a wrong in any way. I trust him blindly and have always had not only the best service, but also the prices are fair and the work is really, really good. My truck is a **** *** with almost 200,000 miles on it. And she is still going strong!

I bought a **** ****** ****** from John Carbone, because he was a personal friend of mine and I thought I could trust him. To sell me a safe reliable car for my 17 yr old daughter. He told me he’d get her a new bumper and tires , he lied. Bumper was damaged and he just rotated the tires. On the 23 of march The vehicle died at a stop sign. Then restarting. When I notify him of the situation. He told me to check the oil. I would have to check the oil for a car I only had purchase over 20 days? The car was down 4 1/2 quarts of oil. I told my daughter I would get the car to him to have them go over the issues. Then at 8 AM the following morning a month after getting the car to the day. The car stalled out at a light. Luckily the fire marshal happen to be behind her at the light. As he was asking her if she needed assistance? The car began to smoke. He had her sit in his vehicle. And seconds later the car irrupt it in flames. When I told him what happened, he never even asked if my 17 yr old daughter was safe and ok? Or that he would make it right. He clearly only cares about himself and his business. I’ve got photos of the car in flames! Thank god the fire marshal was there or this could have been very tragic.
