On June 13th,2022,my car had broken down in *** ***** and i needed a tow service to bring it to the mechanic shop.i was originally going to use another tow company,however,an acquaintance o mine had told me about Tony's and said i make be able to save some money because he is usually reasonable on pricing.i gave Tony's a call,and sure enough they were cheaper,as opposed to $130,tony quoted me $85.This was at around 1:30-2pm on June 13th,2022.within the same conversation tony proceeded to tell me he would be able to get to me within the next hour or two but definitely before 4pm,but i would have to prepay for the service to lock my spot due to the high call volume.i had never heard of this but he assured me he was going to come;aside from some bad reviews online,he also had some good,as well as a good standing grade with BBB;i decided to go against my gut,and trust his word to be an honest business man.the one to two hours became three;the three became four;the four became five;sooner than later its 10 at night;i called him numerous times throughout the day,had spoken to him and had been repeatedly promised 30 minutes,45 more minutes,or even i'm on the way,just dropping this tow off,you are next,i promise.i have asked numerous times before businesses closed if he was going to be able to get out to me before end of business day and he assured me they would.now its after hours and i was going to have to pay for emergency tow services which would be $250-$300,almost double what i was initially quoted by other places because of the after hour service.i called tony and at this point my ride had been waiting for me at the automotive place for over an hour and already getting irritable,and i had asked him for my money back that i was going to have to find another tow service. he refused to refund my money,which was paid through cash app which is an app on the phone,never towed me i had to drive my car now my motor is blown from that drive,and still havnt gotten a refund!!
