My 1 yr old puppy contracted Giardia at Paw Haven while boarding for several days. Upon picking her up, she was noticeably thinner and once home vomited repeatedly and was unable to keep food down for several days. This progressed to severe diarrhea which prompted trips to our veterinarian and the emergency vet. We called Paw Haven several times to ask if she had ingested anything or been exposed to any possible disease agents, or if she had been sick. No answers were given and promises of return phone calls by managers were never kept. Ultimately once we had a diagnosis of giardia we and informed Paw Haven of her diagnosis and let the staff members on the phone know that the facility would likely require a deep cleaning. Our dog was kept out of Paw Haven for approximately one month and was healthy in the interim. On the week we took her back, she again developed symptoms of giardia. We have attempted to once again contact management staff at Paw Haven, however have not received any responses. I would like to speak with the management/owner team to come up with a solution to this issue.Business response

To Whom It May Concern,
We spoke with the owner on the same day this complaint came in about 24 hours after I was made aware. We believe we have come to mutual agreeable place in regards to this matter.
