  We hired Nukitchens (NK) in June 2022 to renovate two bathrooms in our home in ******* **. From our first meeting with NK, my wife and I were very clear that we were looking for someone to both design the bathrooms and do the actual renovation. During that first meeting, and during subsequent meetings, both before and after we executed contracts with the company, NK us they would assist with the design. After hiring NK, the company assisted with designing two vanities which we ordered through NK, paid for and received. While waiting for the vanities, we met with NK to discuss next steps, and they provided us a list of items that we would need to purchase for the bathrooms ourselves. I can provide the full list, but it included CEILING FAN/LIGHT, TOILETS, TOILET PAPER HOLDER, BATH TUB FAUCET VALVES/ HANDLES, BATH TUB DRAIN, BATH TUB SHOWER VALVE, LIGHTING OVER MIRROR, CABINET HARDWARE, etc. The only direction we were provided was to look for the items on *********., and we were told Karin at NK would make sure that the tile and fixtures worked together. At meeting and via e-mail, we asked for additional information to help us purchase items which we thought would be included in the building work (i.e., bath tub drain) or that Nukitchens would help us choose (i.e., design work). A detailed list was never provided to us, and then KU tried to charge additional fees for Karin's limited assistance. In short, we have not received the design services promised to us. Other than the vanities, we have not received anything from NK except an incomplete, incorrect and unhelpful list of things we need to purchase ourselves before the renovation work can actually begin. We are seeking a termination of our relationship with this contractor and the return of a $10,740 deposit we paid to them on September 8, 2022.

  Hello.  We chatted this morning on the BBB website regarding resolving disputes.

   

  I have now settled my dispute with the merchant Nukitchens, LLC.  I believe the complaint number is ********, but I'm not positive. 

   

  Can you please change the status of the complaint to resolved and confirm the change in status.
