Silo/Astacio came to my home to repair a leaky bathroom faucet. I supplied the hardware for the faucet and also a toilet seat that I asked the repair man to replace while he was there. Work began only when I agreed to sign off on the quote. I should never have signed off because the quote was excessively high. The repair man work for about an hour. A couple of days later, I received a call from Silo/Astacio to follow up on the work performed. I replied that I had not received an invoice which they then sent me. The bill showed a flat amount for the toilet seat ($81.11) and for the faucet ($582.17). I questioned the amounts I was charged and asked repeatedly for a detail of the bill which they refused to send me. This way of conducting business is unethical.Review from peter m

Stay away from working with this company they are not trustworthy. I provided Astacio with full payment for replacing my HVAC System following their promise the equipment came with a 10-year warranty. After the technician left Astacio never followed up with any paperwork and failed to provide documentation of any type of warranty. After months of requesting this information, Astacio finally admitted that they didn't install the equipment with the warranty as promised in the contract. CT Small Claims Court ruled Astacio violated the contract and must pay me for the failure to provide the warranty promised in the contract. Astacio is now delinquent in making the payment requested by CT Small Claims Court. They are not accountable for proper customer service and clearly, they are not to be trusted in following through on the contract or work you pay them to perform.Review from Deborah E

The technician, Chris was very professional and friendly! He was efficient and clean! I highly Recommend Astacio for all your heating and cooling needs! I also Recommend requesting Chris. Astacio replaced my entire system when I first Purchased my home seven years ago from Oil heat. Wonderful work.Review from Patricia M

This company charged me $366.91 to clean the electrical contacts on my boiler and it still isn't working. This charge seems to include a labor charge of $140 per hour to make a 40 minute trip to Home Depot to pick up a can of WD-40 electrical contact cleaner. This seems like something a plumbing and heating company should carry on their service vehicle. Although I still have not received an itemized bill, it looks like they charge me about $50 for that can of WD-40. I hope they at least left me the can of WD-40, in case I need it. Also, there is a hardware store right around the corner from my property, and I am pretty sure they carry WD-40.
