I paid for a service called Search Stayz (***** ************ ***) which guaranteed 3 - 8 bookings for my condo, ******* ****** *** on 5/11/2023. At first the salesman John L****** said if I didn't get 2 - 3 bookings in 3 mon, I was guaranteed a 100% money back guarantee. Somewhere along the way, he upped it to 12 mon, but for the same price of $299 for 1 year. Around June/July I had only received one lead (no guaranteed bookings) so I thoought I could go ahead and cancel the service/subscription. The salesman, John said that he'd look into it with the refund dept. Nothing happened. I inquired again and was told it would be in Aug. Called/emailed/texted again, no response or another "we'll look into it." Our place was to be advertised in Delta Airlines magazine and website under the company Search Stayz. To date, we've only had a few inquiries, no bookings. The owner had emailed me saying I wasn't available fo the refund now because he said that I had said the place was booked Nov 2023 thru Mar 2024, that was not true. Therefore he said it was unavailable for over 6 mon of the 12 mon contract that I had signed. No, I said I cancelled that booking because it was a **** booking and **** ** ***** won't let us rent with **** because our HOA says we have to state no renting under 31 days and **** won't let us say that. So I pulled that listing. Anyways, the bottom line is that SS has not fufulled their promise of the amt of bookings, has been dodging my cancelation and refund requests. After all that time wasted I am unable to process a chargeback with my bank because it is over the 90 days limit. I am frustrated and disappointed in the service. It has not helped us with bookings, other sites that have cost less like Furnished Finders have resulted in many more inquiries and bookings. I just want my money back. I have multiple emails regarding this matter. Btw they made my place look terrible, their art dept doesn't know how to properly resize photos.Initial Complaint

In January 2023 I paid this company $299 and they guaranteed at least 4 bookings of one month or more the first year. This has not happened and there is not time left for it to happen. They no longer answer my emails and requests for a full refund. They have terrible reviews and apparently only collect money instead of giving the service they GUARANTEED. In June 2022 we paid this company $600 to list our short term vacation rental. They did not complete account setup, we received no bookings, and for the last 10 months will not return our calls or messages.Business response

As the company guarantees minimum 8 bookings in first 11 months of the subscription, unfortunately we could not deliver the guaranteed business. Therefore as per the refund policy, we have issued a full refund and attached the the file for the same.Customer response
