I had a membership at Orangetheory ******** (****** ********* ***** *** ***) and was being charged monthly to my credit card. When COVID hit, they closed and we froze our memberships. I was told, in writing, that I "we can absolutely extend your freeze for as long as you need". Then, they began charging my cc again without my authorization for three months until I caught it. They apologized, in writing, and said they would refund the money but eight months later I am still fighting to get my money back. By the time I realized that they were playing games and not refunding me, it was too late to dispute the charges with my cc company. Now, they are trying to strongarm me to rejoin and use the three months towards my membership. I have told them multiple times that I am not interested and that I just want a refund. Now they have begun to ignore any and all communications with me. I have many text messages of my conversations with the Manager, Kristin D******, of that location to prove that I am owed the money and that they charged my card erroneously.
