We signed up for "virtual" monthly yoga classes in 2020. My wife signed up (*** ***** ** ******) and we also signed up our son (****** ****** *****). This business took our ******** ******* card # and charged us for 2 memberships, monthly, against this card. Later, we cancelled the monthly classes for ***** and for ******, as instructed, via telephone. We recently discovered that this business did in fact not cancel charging us. Susan, who kept tract of data for Kaia Yoga, in a recent phone call on 3/5/2024, gave us the dates we began -- as well as the dates we cancelled. (we have documentation). The Facts She told us that ***** had a virtual membership which began on 11/20/2020 and cancelled it on 6/19/2021. ****** had a virtual membership from 12/28/2020 and his membership was cancelled in March 2021. In my multiple emails and phone discussions with their operations manager (Tirrell J****) Mr. J**** checked all of the dates that Kaia had in their own records, added up all the fradulent charges and wrote me an email (3/13/2024) saying that we were owed a refund of $2688.64. While this amount varied slightly from the amount I had personally computed, I wrote back the same day (3/13/2024) and said "I had a bit more, but we're fine. Thanks so much." Since that communication, we have heard only excuses. An example, Mr. J**** wrote an email on 3/13/2024 saying, "Sorry it was a busy day for me. I am waiting approval to process your refund." After emails and calls, here is another example. Mr. J**** wrote on 4/23/2024 saying, "I am sorry for the late response for your refund. I was away and not on my emails. I will be sure to process the refund as soon as possible. I had to wait for approval to do so. I apologize for this matter taking so long to be resolved." In short, Tirrell/Kaia have been honorable and actually quite lovely in their responses to us. However, we'd like the refund that they in fact concluded we are due. (and we have all these emails)Customer response

Dear BBB,
Even though it appears they didnt respond to you, after many months, more than 20 phone calls, 20 emails and adding a lawyer's email address to a few of my emails, -- they did finally, send me a refund of what was owed to me last week.
An employee, Tirrell J****, was very helpful. But it took forever!
