Stop trying to bill me for a service I did not request. Like so many others they offer a free month, "Cancel at any time", then they continue to try and bill you. ENOUGH!Business response

We do not offer a free month trial.
We do offer a $1 trial for a user's first month which is clearly explained on the paywall modal and in the payment confirmation that the user must click to confirm their subscription, before they even enter their payment information. After users sign-up for the $1 trial, they have the option to cancel anytime through their account page on our website or by contacting our support team at support@rawstory.com.

We do not condone bad business practices as described and would be happy to refund the charge after the trial period has ended if the user doesn't wish to continue their subscription.

Following instructions given on the company's website I am unable to cancel my trial subscription in time to avoid being billed for a post-trial subscription. I provided my PayPal information to start a trial on 6/6/2023. I tried on 7/03/2023 to cancel and found no way to do so. My hope is to get help in canceling my subscription so as to not incur a reoccurring $7.99 monthly charge.Business response

We are happy to cancel this subscription and issue a refund for the customer if I had the customers details. I don't see a name or email address provided. Per our website instructions, subscribers may cancel their subscriptions themselves online at any time. I have attached the instructions and the onsite display with the option to cancel. Please let me know if additional details are required.

please cancel my subscription totally; i logged into my account, went into "cards" and "edit card" and it would not allow me to remove my card; that card no longer exists; i was the victim of identity theft and had to close my bank account and open a new one; it does not allow you to remove a card completely nor is there anywhere on the site to cancel a subscription; and e-mails to support@rawstory.com go unanswered and cannot find a phone number; i just want the subscription cancelled immediately and my card number removed as it no longer exists; thank you *********************
