      I had purchased a 2018 Jaguar F Pace 20d back in Apr this year. I was told about the warranty from Continental that would cover my vehicle. The car had cut off on me and would not restart. I had the vehicle towed to a repair shop. The repair shop told me that the timing chain had broken and the vehicle would need have the engine replace. A replacement engine could not be found to for under the liability limit the warranty covers. The only option is to have a new engine purchased. This would make me responsible for over $15,000 to complete the repair. I have not even put 10,000 miles on the vehicle before this issue developed. I don't see how this is my fault and the warranty company has not been in touch with me to discuss other options since this issue developed. I feel that I have been not treated as a valued customer and it defeats the purpose for purchasing an extended warranty to protect me against this type of repair and the associated out of pocket cost. Very disappointed in the service that was purchased.

      I purchased this warranty through a dealership when I bought a car. It is garbage! Many times something should have been covered (like parts) and wasn’t. I even called ahead to pre authorize and got approval. Then, they covered absolutely nothing on the repairs. This has happened three times now. I cancelled what was left of the warranty.

      Would not warranty my truck transmission after 20,000 miles. Said I had no service receipts for said transmission. Why would I have service receipts on a transmission after 20,000?! Dealer said it was part failure, but they still refuse to honor warranty. Company is a joke

      I tried to cancel my agreement after having two things go wrong with my car and they said neither was warranty related. This service is way to expensive to not cover anything. When I asked to cancel, they said they couldn't help me. Had to go through the dealership I bought it from which went out of business. This place is a scam.

      HAD THE ULTRACARE BUMPER TO BUMPER ON MY CERTIFIED USED AUDI.... LEASED MY LAST THREE CARS....BOUGHT THIS ONE IN PART BECAUSE OF THIS WARRANTY SOLD TO ME BY THE DEALER AT SALE OF THE VEHICLE.....FIRST PROBLEMS I HAD AFTER 3 YEARS OF OWNERSHIP.... ITS A LABOR INTENSIVE JOB THAT INVOLVES TIMING ON THE ENGINE AND OTHER PERFORMANCE AND SAFETY ISSUES... BY THE PLAIN LANGUAGE OF THE CONTRACT, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED 100 PERCENT, THEY ONLY OFFERED TO PAY 40 PERCENT,... NOW IM DRIVING AN UNSAFE CAR BECAUSE I CANT AFFORD THE 10K OUT OF POCKET....OR I AM FORCED TO BUY A NEW CAR WHILE I PLANNED ON HAVING THIS ONE THROUGH 2025 (THE LENGTH OF THE WARRANTY).... I WANT THEM TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES ....I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING INTO CIVIL AND CLASS ACTION LITIGATION... WE SHOULD ALL JOIN FORCES ...

      When you finally decide which car you want and you sitting with the Finance Manager signing away your life and He or She then asks you if you want the warranty from Continental?? This is what you do. You say give me a couple hours to think about it, if they try to hold you then you came to the wrong place to buy a car so you'll be in for a Double Whammy if you don't leave. If they say okay see you in a few hours then go to the nearest shopping mall you can find, (YES Google it) get yourself a good pair of Running Shoes, spare no expense, spend around $250.00. Place them on your feet and Run, Run, Run as if your entire life depended on it. Never stop running. Because if you had money in the first place you wouldn't be financing no car so FIRST OFF You is BROKE. Run and Run and Run and all the time you is running for the hills I want you to say ******* ****** showed me the way. Take two Aspirin and call me in the morning. I just hope you don't do what I did and you read this first. PEACE

      I purchased an extended warranty plan on my 2018 SQ5 when I purchased it about 2 years ago under the assumption that I was purchasing a bumper to bumper coverage in case something went wrong with the vehicle. The coverage was for 5 years and up to 125,000 miles and the cost was $3,4000.00 w/ a deductible of $50 and its supposed to be their Ultra Care Exclusionary coverage. Had I known that an issue would arise my vehicle and this company would not cover the total cost of repairs as stated, I would have NEVER purchased the warranty. I blame both Audi for selling this product under the premises that they would cover any issues bumper to bumper and the warranty company for their poor coverage. My car was recently in the shop and quoted repair for a coolant leak and engine mount leak and the repairs were to cost in excess of $8,000.00. Continental Warranty has not followed up or checked in on the matter and has only offered to cover $2,900 of the quoted $8,000 repair. Their reasoning was that Audi was over charging for the work needed to be done, yet they do not offer to assist in getting work done for their lowball amount they are willing to cover. My car is now at another shop and awaiting to hear whether they are willing to cover the cost. I am writing this review to forewarn future purchasers of their poor service and protection. I believe its ridiculous that the number they are willing to cover is below the amount they charge for their supposed ULTRA CARE EXCLUSIONARY COVERAGE!!! Avoid this company at all cost...

      It's just another way to steal from hard working people. I had the warranty for 8 months about 30k miles. Then my car needed repairs that cost 15k and I was told it wouldn't cover the repairs. So I asked for my money back I figured they atleast give me half back they only refunded $1000 and that took weeks because they don't communicate with the person that purchased the warranty they communicat with the dealership that doesn't have time to reach out to the customer in adaquate time ( over a month) I had to call them many times. Please don't buy this warranty!

      DO NOT BUY!!!! The person who sold the warranty said everything except appearance & wear and tear would be covered. Nope that has not been my experience. Sunroof NOT covered Cooling system components cost $1683.10 They are only covering $790. Back in June bill $5507.65 They covered $2461.45 I paid $3046.20 Turbo coolant Seal Gasket Cylinder head cover fuel injector. Regret buying this warranty No one ever calls me back, they do not care. I had a rep answer the phone said I cannot help you call back tomorrow and ends the call.

      Car repair I purchased a Continental Warranty (Gold which includes powertrain) for a 2016 Hyundai Sonata about 15 months ago which was 83k miles at the time. My car has about 110k miles on it. I took the car to local repair shop Christian Brothers in Spring Hill,Tn to diagnose which they found PO304 misfiring and when further checked they found valve cover gasket cracked and leaking along with spark plugs needed along with ignition coil which of course having the extended warranty I have that includes powertrain which even on their website it shows ‘The Continental Powertrain plan covers all of the vehicle’s most essential and expensive components. It comes with selectable deductibles and includes rental car reimbursement’ and the repair shop was even flabbergasted that the coil and especially the valve gasket cover being a major engine components aren’t covered. I was quoted $829 to replace the valve cover and $500 plus for the coil. I called Continental to follow up on the denial and they advised it wasn’t a covered component or in their words it was excluded from the contract which is ridiculous. I spent almost $3,000 for a warranty that I was told was a top tier warranty but so far any attempt to use it has resulted in no payment and no coverage. It appears they have done their homework to not pay out numerous items that need to be repaired. This warranty seems to be a total rip off or con job!!
