If it wasn't for Damon and his crew, I would have been stressed out!! Thanks to Damon, I got through the day with such a smooth transition. I must say, fair pricing, totally on point! I highly recommend using this moving company with Damon and the boys!!! *Leah*

Arrived on time and were very professional. The men were clean cut and very professional. They loaded quickly but at the same time were very careful not to damage anything. We packed most of our household but if there was any question they repacked if they felt it needed more protection. They arrived within five minutes of the time. They were very patient as were kept changing our minds were to place items. I would use these people again. Damon was fantastic.

Hired them and gave them a $100 deposit. Called and said their daughter was in hospital and changed the move day to the next morning. Texted them in the morning to see if they were still and go and they texted back yes, then texted one hour before showing up and said they no one wanted to work so they had to cancel and they would refund my deposit. Still have not received a refund yet. Called and no one answered. Left message, sent text, sent email and still no response. They are posting on facebook that they are A+ rated and BBB accredited but clearly they are not.

Damon is a complete liar. On the day of our move in June 2021, he texted 30 minutes prior to arrival to say that he and his brother had been in an accident, they were in the hospital and their car was totaled. He sent a picture of a vehicle already on the tow lot wrapped in plastic and he stated he was about to undergo an MRI. He then had his "Dad" text that he would not be there to help us that day. Not sure how all of that could have happened so fast since we live less than 30 minutes away and they were supposedly enroute. We immediately suspected his story to be a complete fabrication. We are in our late 50s/early 60s and had to load the 26' Uhaul (which Damon asked us to rent) moving all our boxes and furniture from our 3 bedroom condo on the 3rd floor down the elevator to the truck, then unload it at our storage unit and make everything fit. We are not professional movers (nor is he) so this was an extremely difficult move by ourselves at the very last minute. Damon scammed us out of our $100 deposit which was paid via Venmo months in advance to hold the date. I vow to get my money back even if it costs me more money to do so. Do NOT use Beach Bay Movers or Damon, he is a total fraud and his so called moving business needs to be shut down!

Although they showed up on time for our job they moved a washer and dryer, five boxes and a few pieces of small furniture. 25 minutes into the move one of them came inside and said that they had to change out a floor runner they were using. After 15 minutes… We did not see or hear them outside. We went out to look and they had disappeared!! Gone! They left my girlfriend and I high and dry after they promised to complete the job. We left a message on their phone and then after about an hour just assumed we have been totally abandoned. We went to Yelp and left a negative review, they had time to reply to the review but no time to call or text us. On the review they stated they got called out for a family emergency. So suddenly apparently… They did not have 10 seconds to pop their head inside the door and say that there was an emergency?? They said they texted us pictures of their father in his hospital bed and pictures of his medical records. Never happened!! Who sends pictures of their relative in the hospital and confidential medical records to total strangers telephones? TOTAL lies. a few hours later one of them texted us and offered to come back the next day to finish the job. We already had the pod unloaded in 90 minutes by ourselves. Extremely disappointing, extremely frustrated and exceptionally unprofessional. Do not use!!
