This is the worse company ever. My claim has been mishandled since day 1. Claims manager ***** ******** is completely incompetent and is never available. When you call the company to escalate a concern, they either cut you off or dont call you back. My vehicle has been in the shop since September 18th and I still do not have it back. It sat in the shop for a full 2 weeks before they even came to inspect it. They have stalled payments to the shop and their Independent Appraisers are completely incompetent. My vehicle has now been ready since Wednesday, Nov 6th, yet its still sitting in the shop as NARS have not confirmed or sent final payments. Despite me being told by ***** that she had requested them. They canceled my rental even though I didnt have my vehicle back yet. Theyve now sent out a new rental voucher but now the rental place has no available vehicles. Its beyond frustrating and the response from ***** is always to blame other people. I would give them no stars if that were an option.Review from Jon P

This is the worst insurance company I've ever had to deal with! They took over a month to contact us, and lost us thousands in value as we were intending to trade in our vehicle. They have made the experience a nightmare to deal with. If your damage is to a vehicle, they will have you get multiple quotes from repair shops and then make up their own quote (which they won't budge from). When you go to get it repaired, they make you pay out of pocket for a rental car and reimburse you after the fact (which I've never seen from an insurance company). THEN the will hold your funds hostage until you sign legal paperwork agreeing to their absurd terms.We tried to claim diminished value, and they don't take any professional reports into consideration and offered us pennies on the dollar for the amount of money this experience has lost us. The are rude, highly unethical, and slow to respond. I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone.North American Risk Services, Inc. Response

I give NARS a negative 5 stars!! My renters insurance claim (GCKBIC23020002) has gone 1.5 years without resolution! I've been passed through 3 different claims adjusters since! I lost my home of 17 years and all my belongings in the aftermath of a fire, caused by the neglect of my neighbors cigarette. I was a connecting apartment to the completely destroyed fired damaged apartment. Ankle deep water from the fire department and soot from all the vents destroyed everything I owned, and also made the space uninhabitable. NARS did not even send out an investigator, which is mandatory when fire damage is claimed. The adjusters were less than empathetic to me being homeless and losing years of collectables and belongings. My out of pocket expenses have continued to add up, and NARS has yet to complete my claim, investigate, or help me with this life changing incident. I have completed all the paperwork NARS has asked of me. I continue to pay renters insurance through Goodcover, and I expect NARS to do the right thing by helping me with my claim immediately, because this is only my first stop with this information, my next stop is the Better Business Bureau, and then I will go above and beyond to get this information out there, so others don't have to go through the h*** I've been through with this company!North American Risk Services, Inc. If there were a choice of minus 5 star, I would have given them that.North American Risk Services' adjuster was handling my claim because their insured hit me from the back. They send a mail indicating that they can't get in touch with me at the beginning while I called everyday and ask for their adjuster's response.As for how they handle the claims? They are good in the way that they just don't contact the insured or the one who got hit from the back. They insist on that if they can't contact the insured, they can't proceed with the claim. I think that's very fair while I contacted them many times and they just didn't even bother calling back. I believe that they just didn't call the insured party.After a month, I receive zero communication from them. My car damage, my hospital bill, my psychological trauma, and all other bills are not taken care of. They are the worst.If this business is accredited as A, all the business should be AAAA+North American Risk Services, Inc. Response

Three of my renter had three separate accidents. Even though I was insured at the time with NARS, I am being asked to now pay over 47k in damages. Loss date 2/17/2024 20k for one vehicle that was sitting in a garage for more than 30 days before a denial was issued. The pay was $100 a day for storage, not including the 20k in repairs. I was told they were investigating the issue and it took about a month or more to get a response after reaching out to another department in the company. Date loss 3/1/2034 13k for the other vehicle, not including storage fees either and loss date 2/14/2024 14k in collections from another insurance company requesting their money back for fixing their insured vehicles. Lastly, there was an additional 5k for damages done to my last vehicle. There was no appraisal done for either of the vehicles. Not sure what investigation they were doing.I was told since I didnt have an address of the renter on the contract, and my renters did not have primary insurance it was not valid. I have hired a lawyer because the cost is too substantial and they have really put me and my company in a situation. I have not received any reimbursement and this entire situation has led to mental stress, anxiety and depression, as this is my only source of income for me and my family. The claims representative was not cooperative over the phone and very abrupt and not helpful through email(when she did respond) I am definitely contacting the Media regarding this issue and I am also reporting this dishonest business practice to the *********************** to review any dishonest practices or any fraudulence taking place at this company. This is not just about me, It is about people trying to maintain their families and your company not keeping up their part of the bargain. This is unacceptable, 47k is way too much to lose, but I see this has been done to many people. I am not for this and need reimbursement IMMEDIATELY.Review from Sadia C

NARS is the third party administrator for The Main Street ************** I received a second degree burn from ********** ********* (**) on August 11, 2023. MSA ***************** representing the policyholder, ***** ************ **** claim an investigation was conducted, and refused to accept responsibility for the injuries that I received. I visited Advent Health in ********* (**) and received a second opinion from The Villages VA ****** (**). There was not investigation conducted, not records requested from ********************* or The Villages VA ******, and in the end after submitting documentation, emails, and fax, speaking several times with claims adjuster, ******************, I received a letter stating ***** ************ **** was not liable for damages. ********************* billed my BCBS policy for medical bills. I will be stuck with a burnt scar on my left knee forever. I believe scam, and this entire agency should be investigated. I have tried on numerous occasions since January 2024 to reach ********************** about medical bills and damages; however, I got one message, but when I return the call its always an answering machine. This calling back and forth has been going on since January 9. 2024. I have provided witnesses letters, pictures of injuries, and hospital documentations, and billing information. I have no intention of paying co-payments. I HOLD ********** TOTALLY RESPONSIBILE FOR THE ***** I RECEIVED FROM THE HOT COFFEE SERVED TO ME THROUGH DRIVE THRU WITH THE *** NOT PROPERLY SECURED! The plethora of bad reviews should speak for themselves. I live in a state where insurance companies have 35 days to legally close out claims. NARS has been giving me the run around for almost 8 months. My vehicle was totaled back in September. I went the patience route and waited till early December to see what was going on. From December till now (April 15th) NARS has not paid out the claim due to an administrative carrier issue. Why is it affecting a claim that they agreed to pay out? If I could literally fly down to their headquarters and pick the check up myself I would. I can never get my adjuster on the phone and there is no route online to speak to a manager or anyone else for that matter.North American Risk Services, Inc. Response

I was in a vehicle incident in February 2024. I was insured at the time and practically intimidated by NARS to send them the title of my vehicle. My vehicle has been stored since the day of the accident with the towing company and has yet to be released. NARS has provided the absolute worst experience ever and I really hope that no one else has the experience I have and still have with NARS. I want NARS to pay the towing company what's due to them so that I can be paid out for my vehicle so that I can move forward with my life!!!!!North American Risk Services, Inc. Response

Accident occured in Nov. of 2023 and 6 months later NARS has not settled, will not answer the phone and will not address emails. STILL NO SETTLEMENT! This company needs to be investigated by the *** *********************North American Risk Services, Inc. Response
