I purchased a Pi 5 8gb device when it was difficult to source them, 12/3/23. They gave me a tracking number the next day. After showing delivered for over a week with no *** picture of delivery and "left at" showing "other" in an area with no package thefts in the area, I reached out to the seller since *** seems to imply their customer is the rightful claimant on a lost package. I received no response from Makerbright for another 3 days, so I file the claim myself as the receiver. After another 4 days I noticed another potential contact email for Makerbright through paypal and email that as well, no response. 7 days later *** concludes the claim as a lost package and the claim is then issued to the seller (makerbright). They at no point have ever contacted me and since *** directs you to take it up with the seller, it appears that Makerbright received the refund from *** and never issued it to me, so I file a claim with Paypal after giving Makerbright 14 days to reach out to me, who give at least a week to respond. No surprise they don't respond for the 8 days I gave them, and then I'm allowed to escalate, which I did. Then on the last day they're allowed to appeal before a refund is automatically issued, they apparently send Paypal the tracking number of *** with the claim at which point Paypal ends the claim siding with Makerbright because the tracking number showed "delivered" despite having an active claim showing lost item.The long story short here is that Makerbright's communication exploits the seller/buyer communication gap *** relies on to avoid paying out refunds. For all I know they received ******************************************************************************************* fact for all I know, they never sent it in the first place and now have stolen my money. Obviously this situation only works when *** is forcing the seller to communicate to initiate refunds, which they're incentivized not to do for multiple reasons.Initial Complaint

I recently purchased a Raspberry Pi 5 and some accessories on the 27th of December last year. I received the product on Thursday, January 4th, and upon using the device, ive had constant crashes and problems that require a replacement. Ive tried contacting them a few times to get no response and Ive been stuck with a faulty device that I need to have available to me for use on a project. They have yet to respond to my inquiry after a day and it would be greatly appreciated if someone could reach out to me so we can get this resolved. Thanks.
