      Customer reached out to us after hours on 7/1/24 to advise the refund had not been received.  We were looking into the issue.  On 7/3/24 we responded to customer letting them know there was an issue with the refund back to their card and as they requested, we have issued a store credit to them.  Attached is our email correspondence.

      On 04/21/23 I ordered 3x(three) packages of Epson art paper from Bluedogink (ORDER# ********), I ordered from this particular vendor because their website indicated that the items were in stock with an expedited delivery date of 04/26/2023. I contacted the company when the products did not arrive as promised, and was told that due to problems with their inventory system, the notification to inform me that my order had been back-ordered 2-3 weeks had not been sent. On 04/27/23 I requested a full refund, only to be told that a partial shipment including 1x (one) package of paper had already shipped, and was told by the company to decline the delivery. Bluedogink acknowledges that they received the product back on 05/02 and that my refund would take another **** business days to process. As of 05/22 it seems that my only recourse it go through my credit card company and have them reject the charge, which should not be an issue since the item was rejected at the time of delivery as instructed by Bluedogink.As I read the consumer complaints regarding bluedogink on your website, I find it unconscionable that this company could have an A+ rating when they have long exhibited a pattern of behavior identified in this complaint. The unassuming public actually uses your rating as a barometer of a companys trustworthiness, in this case customers have indicated over-and-over that Bluedogink consistently advertises and promises products that they cannot deliver, and then consistently does not issue refunds in a timely manner. The company is definitely not trustworthy (from a consumer point of view), and the activity described in this companies complaint profile (on your website) actually appears to be borderline fraudulent. The amount requesting to be refunded is $129.99

      On September 12, 2022 I placed an order with this business for colored card stock. The total of the order was $104.91. My credit card was charged, but I never received the order. I received a confirmation and the website said the products were in stock. When my order never arrived I emailed in October to inquire about it. I was informed that the products were backordered, but they might be in in 2-3 weeks. I chose to keep the order open thinking they would get the paper in. I checked back again in November and it was still on backorder. I still havent received the product and when I emailed last week asking for a refund, I was informed that the company had canceled my order and then they issued a store credit. I was not notified of a cancellation or credit until I emailed them. This seems to be a common occurrence with this company so I do not feel confident about trying to order anything else from them for them to say they dont have it in stock. I have requested a refund and told them that a store credit is not acceptable. They have refused to respond to my email requesting a refund. They also do not answer the phone. A store credit is not acceptable when the company was unable to fill the order and the company canceled the order. I will only accept a full refund in the amount of $104.91. This can be put back on my credit card, sent as a check, or paid to me through PayPal.

      We provided the customer a ********************** credit as the transaction was too old to refund back to the original form of payment, the credit card processor would not allow the refund.  The store credit will not expire and can be used at anytime.

      I am rejecting this response because this company has a long history of not fulfilling orders.  The order was never fulfilled by the company.  They should have never charged my card in the first place because they did not have the items in stock.  I rejected their store credit because I am not confident that I will ever get the products from them.  I do not want to ever do business with this company again and I want their questionable business practices to be recorded for other consumers.  When the company cannot fill the order it should not matter how long ago the transaction was.  They should be able to refund a credit card.  I have never had this type of treatment from another online company.  To me it seems like a way to scam customers out of their money.

      I was able to resolve this on my own.  I reached out to my credit card company to get a charge back.  Because I am a reliable customer they were willing to refund this charge even though it was several months old.  I am no longer seeking a refund from Blue Dog Supplies, but I hope that this complaint will help others think twice when considering doing business with this company.
