I maid an appointment with coastal eye I gave them my insurance information from united healthcare. When I entered the office the day of my appointment 4/13/23 I was told my insurance would cover everything. Now I received a bill for $171.93 I called Coastal eye they told me they dont except my insurance threw United Healthcare (spectera) that is the problem they did not make an inquiry on my insurance. They are billing it on my medical and not my free vision. It is there a problem for not looking at my insurance and making the right phone calls to find out what coverage I had I am not responsible for their incompetence and I should not have to pay this bill and I will not pay this billBusiness response

I emailed ************* explaining that our organization does not accept vision plans. However, I was waiving is fee. *************' balance is now zero.
