I am a provider who was calling in a prescription and offering my NPI number/DEA number to validate my ability to do so and the manager on duty on 11/22 was blocking my rights to do so because he couldnt find me on a ****** search. Medical professionals prescription writing has a lot of ways of validation but a ****** search of my name is not one of them. So I did a ****** search on myself after and found all of the hospital affiliations I am with but that is besides the point and an unnecessary action to fill a prescription. That exact information is all he asked for. I kept trying to give him my numbers and he was rudely cutting me off saying he did t need them. Then he went on to say I cant tell them what type of compliance they should have. I didnt say anything about compliance, I was just trying to get him to look me up the way all pharmacies do, with my NPI number. So he was blocking a provider in good standing with a ******* license from their right to prescribe.Business response

You called in on Wednesday, November 22nd after 2:00 pm. It was the day before Thanksgiving l and our compliance team was not in the office.
I was simply trying to look you up before the holiday but as I stated to you, it would be a few days before I could get back to you. While I had you on the phone, I did NPI verify you. However, we would still need to go through the full compliance check which is why you were told it would take a few days.
The timing of your call was 2 hours before we closed for Thanksgiving.
There was nothing wrong with service provided to you.
It was a phone call right before a holiday and service wouldnt have been provided to you til after the holiday.Your feedback is appreciated.
