We bought our roof in good faith with a lifetime warranty in 2015, now 2024 and they said wouldnt warranty because looks like we got pelted with hail, never been thru a hail storm. When we purchased we talked about all these scenarios. We have many leaks, material not good pulling away from sides of home, still no warranty.Review from Daniel B

The roof was replaced in 2020 by the seller which cost approximately $8,000. We as the buyer transferred warranty. Leaking water on to stove called guy came out however, it was raining and stopped within 15 min. So it is now about 3 weeks past and I am getting a run around for a visit. How does this company stay in business is beyond me. I am on the list.? Why would someone even consider to hire this company?Review from Brenda M

After 11 years, I bit the bullet and went to another roofing company and had my roof redone. Comfort Cover does not stand by their work. Their answer is caulking. We all know what the Florida sun does to caulking. You can not caulk on the corners when the membrane is cut short. Once the Comfort Cover roof was removed, there was rotten wood, condensation and some mold. Lets not talk about the damage done inside which they said they were not responsible for. Their customer service is horrible along with their response time. My rating is zero.Review from Jane S

June G,I live in North Port Fl. I am 87years old .This company promised to replace my roof in March, then it changed it to April,May and now June. Due to hurricane Ian ,my home has been without a roof since October 2022.They have taken money as a deposit but have not replaced my roof. Geoff tells me he is the salesman ,they won’t refund my deposit of $500.00. I have been calling weekly with no date for replacing my roof.

We realize it has been 5 months since you signed your contract. So many people suffered loss from Hurricane Ian it has created a back log. The building departments are backlogged as well as we are. Jobs are taking longer to install because of the damage. We have not forgotten you. We ask for your continued patience as we prepare for your roof install. I believe it was explained to you at the time of your sale we are booked out approximately 6 months. It won't be much longer now, you are almost there.Review from john k

Terrible company! Was told by Geoff W., a supposed roof inspector, turned out to be a salesmen, he convinced us that we needed a new roof on 1/29/22 after his inspection. Gave a $500 dollar deposit[ glad it was only that amount after reading some of these reviews].. a week after the intial inspection another contractor inspected and said we did not need a new roof! I called and Canceled our contract with them and also sent it in writting! Have called many timess about refund of deposit with nothing but run around and lies! Please beware of this Company...they have no scrupals or integity..will take advantage of a senior in the blink of an eye! Words of advice...#1 Do not sign a contract with them until you get a second or third quote! #2 Do not let their salesmen convince you to sign the contract by telling you..{ if you sign today and give me a deposit, I will discount the price] #3 Before you sign their contract look at the approx. job start date...if it says [ ASAP] don't sign it...BUYER BEWARE!!!!!Comfort Cover Systems, Inc. We signed a contract to have a roof over on our property in ***********, **. In March 2022, with promise to complete the work in this year after providing a$2000 deposit and since the Hurricane Ion we have tried multiple times to reach out to the company and revisit the contract to provide the company an opportunity to do a complete new roof system if it is in their capacity to do so. They have failed to respond in any way and we are fearful that they have scammed the deposit monies from us. If there is no contact or refund legal action is my only option. Signed. Signed a contract for a roof. Paid deposit to install roof by a certain date. Company never came to install roof. Never called or contacted me. I had to cancel as this company had no intention to install my roof. Called several times to refund my down payment. Person said owners was out of town for 2 weeks. Called again after having never received the money. I have never been contacted again and never received any payment.
Beware of this company as they will take your money and never install the roof.
Where is the Florida Attorney General (Ashley ****** to investigate roofing companies that prey upon senior citizens for fraud.Comfort Cover Systems, Inc. Response
