      This business quoted me $12,800.00 to do a new T.P.O. roof on my mobile home located at ****************************************************. The contract was signed on April 19, 2023. and a $2,800.00 was paid as a downpayment, The roof was completed on September 6, 2023. Upon completion of the roof the final payment of $10,000.00 was due. One of the workers said that we had not been quoted for facia and if we wanted that it would be an additional $3,000.00. A worker approached me and told me he was going to have to install an angled piece of downspout that would join into the downspout that was vertical for drainage (#4). I said ok. He installed the angled downspout over the existing awning, I told him that was unacceptable ,I wanted to open my awning. He took that angled piece down and left a hole in the gutter (#5) which causes water to flow from the roof down that hole and is flooding on that side of the mobile. They left a piece of facia on the right front of the mobile home that is sloped two far down (you can see the roof above it (#6) so the people doing the carport could join into the facia. That piece they left to join into is not joined with anything and is flapping around in the wind. (#3). The carport construction company is not able to join into the facia because of the angle that it was installed so my front facia and the facia on the carport are at two different levels leaving it looking very unprofessional. It also leaks inside the **** in that right corner where the roof picture (#2) shows where water is pooling. I also need to have someone explain to me what I paid the additional $3,000.00 for. I have contacted the company three different times. They sent someone out to look at the problem on Friday, ******* 26 and he said I could expect a call from "****" the next day, He did not call me back. I called the office on and spoke with the receptionist and asked that a message be left to have **** please call me. I have heard nothing back to this date.

      I apologize for the delay in ***********. Somehow this has slipped through the cracks. We have made contact with the customer today.  We will be out tomorrow 2/15/2024 between 10-12.

      I had a membrane roof installed on Oct 25, 2021 by All Florida Weatherproofing with a lifetime warranty. Yet, I called them 6 weeks ago about a loud flapping noise I heard during higher winds and an occasional drip drip,drip sound coming from the roof. They stated next time someone was in the area, they would send them over to check. I didn't think it was an emergency at the time. However, approximately 3-4 weeks ago, we had 2 full days of heavy rain and high winds gusts up to 50mph. The roof flapping noise was loud. About a week later I noticed an extremely musty smell in my entire place. My couch pillows had mold specs on them and my toilet bowl was black. I knew at time my roof was leaking and called the company immediately on Dec 29th. I told Debbie I had copd, how moldy it smelled, and the black in toilet bowl and pillows. I told her I was getting headaches from the mold and congested and asked to please get someone out last week. Debbie stated she would have someone here soonest Tuesday, Jan 5, 2022. She told me she'd printed my message I sent thru their site and had sent a copy to Josh. When I called this morning, she changed her tune. She claimed that Josh hadn't been informed of the issue and that he was expected in the office and she would fill him in. I told her this was dire as my house and health are being harmed and told her not to give me the runaround. She had told me on the 29th they would have someone here and she would call me with a time to expect them on Jan 5. I had to call and write them back twice since then and they are ignoring me. Same as other BBB complaints here. I've had 3 HEPA air purifiers going in my house, along with all windows open day and night so I can stay here. I have sprayed vinegar onto the ceiling and walls daily to kill the mold spores. I can't wait for them to ignore me, and I have a different company coming out tomorrow to access the damage. I'm pretty certain I will need mold removal as well.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/13) */ We have tried to contact customer both by phone and email to rectify any issues. We are still waiting for a response Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/01/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I had an emergency situation and couldn't get them to send anyone out for over a week. This company lied to me, both the receptionist and Josh. Trust was broken, and I didn't trust them to give me an accurate assessment of the damage afterwards. Josh was already implying it was my siding or windows or crawl space that were causing the water build up and mold. Yet, all that is new, and I have been living here 21/2 years with no issues till I had the roof put on. In other words, I felt he was being misleading and already not accepting responsibility. I had already contacted a different roofing company because I couldn't wait for them any longer, along with trust issues. So, him making it sound like he was trying to get out here, but I was ignoring him is just false. I gave him over a week, knew the situation was dire, and consulted another company. And after that asked him not to contact me further as it was out if his hands at this point. Josh had his chance to rectify the situation, but chose not to even though I stated it was an emergency. It was only after threatening legal action and a complaint here, that I got a phone call from him. Over a week later he contacts me for the first time. That's bad business And not a company to that can be depended on. And he did admit that he had been made aware of the problem the week before, as his receptionist had stated initially, but then retracted and said he hadn't been informed yet. I'm wise enough to know when I'm being given the run around and lies. And I lost trust in this company. They did not honor their lifetime warranty in a timely manner. It had been less than 2 months from roof installation. I can't image how they would respond after a year or so with issues. My next step is legal action against this company for negligence of contract. I close this BBB case as there will be no settlement through here.
