**************On October 24, 2023 I bought a vehicle from the Auction (Lot#: ********). Till today December 29, 2023 I haven't received the Title, hence, I can't register the car and drive it anywhere!I spoke with Inloher representatives many times and it's always someone else's fault. I am speechless and can't believe that such a trivial thing nowadays takes God knows how many days?!In addition, this car that was advertised as Driveable turned out to be Undriveable - I spent quite a bit of time fixing the problem before making it run again.I hope someone from Inloher Corp. reads my message before I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau; not that it will affect Inloher anyway. Unfortunately, people like me are nobodies in this world.Review from James G

The site required that I place a 10% deposit in order to bid, so I did (1st $500, then added $200) which set my bidding limit at $7,000.00 I saw a 2022 Ford Ranger with ~800ish miles so began bidding on it. I got into what appeared to be a bidding war with someone from FL. on the Ford Ranger. The site showed the bidder from Florida outbid me, so I let it go / lost the bid. Then I reviewed my account and it showed that I had a $6,800.00 bid in on a 2012 Mercedes-Benz C 300 4matic Lot #******** with Odometer: 257,490 mi. 1) At no time was I under the impression I was bidding on a Mercedes that was falling to pieces. 2) The only auction I had bid that high on, I was outbid (i.e. I didn't win, it showed the person from FL outbid me). 3) If I was outbid as it showed by the bidder in FL, then (even if I had the wrong item) the bid had been won by the bidder in FL and assigned to them. Once I saw this, I immediately contacted salvageautosauction/Inloher Corp. At the time it did not show that I had won but rather that they were 'reviewing the offer'. I explained the situation to the rep. he tried to push it off on me as 'dumb customer bid on the wrong item'. I questioned why this was being assigned to me vs. the dude that the site showed winning in FL. /He said he would see what they could do but that if they ended up accepting the offer I would lose my deposit + be charged a re-listing fee. This on an item I didn't bid on and even if I had been by mistake, had been OUTBID ON. We dropped the call at that time, then I called them back around 3:08CST when I saw the site show the status of 'Congratulations, You've won this vehicle!'. I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager but he refused. I have the impression that this particular auction site intentionally creates such confusion to swindle users out of their deposits + hit them with additional fees.Inloher Corp. Response

Dear *************************,
We are writing to address your complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau regarding the recent auction experience on our platform. We understand that this has been a frustrating situation, and we appreciate your patience as we investigate the matter thoroughly.
Our internal review of the bidding history reveals that you participated in two separate auctions on our platform:
Lot #******** - A GMC ******* Your highest bid was $4,900, which was outbid by other participants. The auction occurred between 12:47 PM and 12:49 PM.
Lot #******** - The 2012 ************* C 300 4matic that you inadvertently won. Our records show that you were in a two-person bidding competition for this vehicle, which took place between 2:02 PM and 2:08 PM. It appears that you mistakenly continued to place higher bids, up to $6,800, even though you were already winning the auction since your initial bid of $2,100 at 2:03 PM.
We have come to the conclusion that you intended to bid on this 2022 **** Ranger ********************************************************************************************* mistakenly bided on the 2012 Mercedez which was on the same bidding line and yard as the **** Ranger. Additionally, both lot numbers end with a 3 so it is possible to get confused and bid on the wrong item.
We understand that our auctions are very fast-paced, and it can be challenging for first-time participants to navigate the process. It is worth mentioning that upon creating your account, just a couple of hours before joining the auction, we sent you several informational emails and encouraged you to visit our knowledge center for guidance on our auction process. Additionally, our representative spent around 35 minutes on the phone with you to clarify the bidding process and answer any questions you might have had.
We want to assure you that our supervisor did speak with you as soon as she was made aware of your request. We take customer concerns seriously and strive to provide the best possible assistance.
We are willing to provide the Better Business Bureau with the complete bidding history, should it be necessary for their review.
As the vehicle has remained unpaid for over a week, we regrettably have no choice but to utilize your security deposit to cover the relisting fees for the 2012 ************* C 300 4matic. We understand this is not the ideal outcome; however, we must follow our established procedures.
We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience you may have experienced during your participation in our auctions. We encourage all of our customers to take their time to familiarize themselves with our auction processes and seek clarification from our support team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Inloher CorpReview from Scott J

This wire literally hit our account an hour ago as pending. We are not a bank nor do we have control of when items are received. It is not our fault that this customer is impatient or that they sent their payment incorrectly the first time.Inloher Corp. Response

The first wire they sent, they made the bank the beneficiary, of course it was rejected. We notified them via email and every time they called, that the wire was not received.Customer Response

I received this from them in an email WIRE TRANSFER CREDIT ON 06/24 ******** And still have not received the release to pick up my truck I also can no longer sign in to my account which I paid for a year subscription it says it doesn't recognize my email address although they were able to send me emails to the same address emails like this.......YOUR WIRE WAS JUST SHOWN AS PROCESSING WITHIN THE LAST HOUR. PLEASE REMOVE THE COMPLAINT YOU MADE TO THE BBB, IT IS UNFAIR. So if my first comments to the bbb we're unfair that was no reason to delete my account from your service so that I have no longer got access to it a subscription that I paid for that I recently asked for a refund on before I even purchased the truck and you said you couldn't do it but you deleted my account so once again I would like my refund for $149 and some change and I would like to release to go pick up my truckCustomer Response

******************************* Inloher Corp Deceptive Marketing, Non Compliance, They don’t even work in the state of CA but website says otherwise. They offer cars at auction that due to their own licensing restrictions the consumer has to take the hit for not being able to purchase the car from copart. When you ask why this happened their response was it must have been a glitch in the system because it was a Rental car and we have no way to restrict a CA resident from bidding on the car. So due to this glitch in the system I’m at fault and out twenty one hundred dollars? Horrible customer service, no one cars to reply back. I called Copart and they don’t charge a re-list fee at all. Copart said why is there a problem your Broker should be licensed to do business in our state. But it was a lie! They are not licensed in the state if CA. The right way of doing business is to disclose upfront which states are approved, before taking the consumer funds. I highly recommend anyone in such a situation to contact the consumer financial protection bureau. Make them aware of the deceptive marketing and bait & switch this company is commuting. The reason for no returned emails was- we get an overflow of emails. The reason for no call back - we are waiting for Copart to respond back to you … We haven’t got a hold of Copart. Which is a lie because I was able to call Copart with first attempt. They were so confused when I mentioned to them that I was from CA and I was able to bid on a car in CA without proper state licensing from my broker. I recommend for any consumer to report this company to : https://www.coconutcreek.net/community-relations/city-attorney The fraud division: How can I get advice and information about unfair, fraudulent or deceptive business practices? We in fact had to pay $800 relisting fee for this vehicle and DID NOT CHARGE THIS CUSTOMER ONE DIME. In fact we can provide receipts that we refunded their deposit in its entirety. They are the ones lying.Inloher Corp. Response
05/16/2022
When this customer registered with us, they signed the ********** Bidder agreement, which clearly states that they cannot bid in ********** if they reside in **********. They signed it and continued to bid on the vehicle. The system should not have allowed them to bid on it because it was a rental vehicle, it was not caught by the *** system and it allowed them to bid. The relist fee would have been $1,600 which was 10% of their $16,000 bid. However, we were able to talk Copart down to $800. We can provide a receipt of that as well. When we caught the error we contacted this customer and let them know we were going to work on it and get the resolve to them asap. As soon as the matter was resolved, we issued a refund in full of their security deposit.
