I purchased 3 pallets of sod on May 2024 for a total price of $1500(which included shipping and the company installing) In the process of them installing the grass, I was told the grass will take 3 to 4 months for the grass to grown in the current terrain and if any problem with it dying with in a year, the grass will be replaced because the company installed it. Watering the grass every single day for several months (getting notifications from the county of high water usage) and the weather raining. The GRASS STILL DIED. I've heard nothing I have tried numerous times to call the number in there web site ( a ****** phone number) the person called back instructing me to give them the order number and pictures which i did. Several days I called again for a status on replacing the grass, but the phone goes right to voice mail and left several messages to call back to me and they don't return calls. Whomever just text me that the grass only had 45 days of warranty. How can that be possible, when there employee told me that it was one year, especially I paid for them installing it for the total $1500. Still waiting for a call back and explain.Initial Complaint

On the 6th of May 2024 I ordered 4 pallets of sod from Alpha Sod. Their order form says they can deliver in 2 to 3 business days which met my timeline. I contacted Alpha Sod on the same day I placed the order to inquire about a delivery date. I received an e-mail response from "*****" stating the order was still being planned for delivery. On the 9th of May 2024 I contacted them again about a delivery date with no response. On the 10th of May I talked with a representative who told me they were having truck problems and could not deliver that weekend. I had them cancel the order and was assured of a refund for my order. I was out of the area for a couple of months and upon my return, realized a refund had never been processed. I reached out to them on or about the 29th of September inquiring about a refund, I received a call from Horha on the 30th of September and explained the situation. He told me he would look into it and call me back. On the 3rd of October I received a text asking if the order was placed already. I responded with the order number and said I spoke with Horha regarding a refund but have not heard back from him. It is now the 4th of October 2024 and I still have no resolution.Initial Complaint

Good afternoon,
Within 5 days of your refund request the money had already been transfered back to your account, at our return policy we inform that refunds are completed within 30 business days, provided the cancellation request is made before the lawn is cut, that is because at the time we used Wix as a payment provider and once we accepted a refund it usually would take from 1 to 7 days for the transfer to be reviewed, accepted and completed.

I purchased 3 pallets of sod on 07/08/2024 for a total price of $522.50 (which included shipping) I was told delivery would be made between 2 to 3 days. I am now on day 5 and I've heard nothing I have tried numerous times to call *************) but the phone goes right to voice mail, so you never get to talk to a person, and they don't return calls or E-mails or Messages.This business was found on ******** under the name of Alpha Sod Tried messaging them but they won't answer that eitherCustomer response

On May 15, 2024 I purchased 1200 sq feet (3 pallets) of grass sod from Alfa Sod. Spoke to them by phone and was assured the grass was fresh cut the day before delivery and would be delivered in 2-3 days. After several communications by text, the sod was finally delivered on May 23, 2024on Mat 25, 2024 I had the sod installed by my landscape company, however, the installers stated the grass was in very bad shape. 1/3 of the sod was dead and the other 2/3 of sod was extremely stressed with signs of weeds. After contacting Alfa Sod I was told they would get back to me with a resolution. As of today June 2, 2024, I have not heard from them. I had my grass pesticide/fertilizer company come and inspect the grass and they also confirmed grass is dead and cannot be used.Business response

The customer claims that the grass died after planting. From the photos he sent, the grass died because he didn't water it. The grass was cut and delivered the same day and the photo of the grass on delivery to the customer's home proves that the grass was green. We cannot guarantee it as it was not our company that did the installation.Initial Complaint

I would stay far away from this business as possible. I placed an order of sod 6 pallets of ***** on march 13th. It clearly states on the website 2-3 days delivery when placing the order. I was patient. Now its march 22nd still no sod on my job. I just requested a refund for the sod today. They kept giving me the run around 14th-15th supposedly they were having truck problems with the delivery trucks. Then the 18th through 20th of march I was told no other deliverys were going in that direction I needed to wait. On march 21st they called me saying they are going to be delivering my sod tomorrow. I questioned them on the phone it was suppose to rain all day are the sod fields going to be flooded? Rain or shine you guys are going to deliver? They stated yes theyll be delivering the sod. So the next day comes around after all this rain. I texted them on the update of the delivery. They texted me back saying they were suppose to put it on the truck yesterday and never did and now the sod fields were flooded. So now a week and a half waiting for sod. on January 4th 2024 I purches Sod from Alfa Sod, The cost of my Sod was $1724.40. I ordered 14 pallets at 400 sq ft per pallet which was 5000 sq ft total to cover an Area of 4983 sq ft, he deliverd 3153 sq ft, each pallet was not 400 sq ft as promised. what he delivered was clumps of soil with pieces of grass on them, The product was not what he advertised and i would like a refund and or the remaining amount of 1847 sq ft delivered so i can finish my back yard, I am a Construction Project Manager, so i work with measurement and figures on a daily basis. I have sent him numerous text messages and phone calls, he simply does not reply. The last picture is what i ordered and you can see what i got,
