When I purchased my vehicle I was forced to also purchase a NitroFill subscription which included a tire warranty. 3 months later I have a non repairable tire damage, and file the claim in February. NitroFill approved the claim but still has not reimbursed me for the tire. They keep telling me checks have not been mailed out at this time. Im trying to resolve this without civil court first.

We appreciate the opportunity to address ****************** concerns regarding his recent tire replacement claim. Below is a detailed account of the situation and the actions taken by our team.

************** submitted his claim to our claims center on February 22, 2024. Initially, he returned to the selling dealer, **** *******************, to facilitate the tire replacement. On the same day, our claims center processed, approved, and issued a payment directly to the dealer on behalf of Mr. ****** claim.

Subsequently, ************** informed us that he did not wish to pay the balance of the claim and decided to explore other options for replacing his tire. He left the dealership without having the tire replaced and purchased a tire from a retailer himself.

Due to this change, we needed to modify the claim process from a direct payment to the dealer to a customer reimbursement. This adjustment required additional processing, including canceling and reconciling the original credit card payment and collecting further documentation from **************.

We have received all necessary documentation at this time, reapproved the claim, and it is now with our accounting department for final check processing. The reimbursement check is expected to be sent out within the next check run, and ************** should receive it within 7-10 business days from today, May 22, 2024.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Note, I was pleased with the speed of the approval by this company. But the check sat over 60 days before being sent out

      Sincerely,

I was given a nitro fill card upon leasing a vehicle. I received an email about a week ago stating I needed to call my dealership for a nitro fill appointment and when I called they stated they arent even using nitro fill anymore. I checked their reviews and saw how someone else also stated that they were not even able to use services provided from nitro fill yet are getting continuously charged for it. I have only been on the lease for 3 months.

Upon reviewing the customer complaint/inquiry, it has been determined that the customer holds an active ******** membership with coverage under our Road Hazard/Roadside Assistance program (membership details provided in the attached document). The customer is duly covered and *********** utilize the service(s) as necessary throughout the duration of their membership.

Regarding the dealership's decision to discontinue offering NitroFill, it is important to note that this decision is solely within their purview and does not impact the coverage the customer continues to receive. It should be clarified that NitroFill Corporate did not directly furnish, offer, or sell the membership to the customer; rather, it was provided by the dealership directly. Therefore, any requests for refunds should be directed to the dealership, as they are the entity responsible for supplying the membership, not NitroFill Corporate.

We were pressured into buying Nitrofill Tire Protection under the false pretense of having tire protection. It does not cover anything that happens to your tire while driving even though in the contract in mentions they WILL cover a tire repair/replacement if caused by a road hazard i.e. potholes. Even if your tire is damaged from a road hazard they ultimately decide whether or not it actually falls in their category of what a road hazard is. The contract states their inclusions and exclusions, but they contradict each other leaving it impossible for your tires to actually get repaired. Its useless, and a scam. And if we cant use the protection plan to repair a tire that formed an air bubble from driving over a pothole then we should get our money back. They dont deal directly with the customer but instead they deal with the dealership, it just doesnt make sense, its like they work as a partnership and play the he say she say game leaving us(the customer) helpless.

We apologize for any unsatisfactory experience a customer has at their dealership. However, we do not own or manage the dealership and cannot comment on how they sell vehicles or any add-on products.
With NitroFill inflated tires, a complimentary tire road hazard program is provided that covers the repair or replacement of a customers tire(s), in the event they were damaged from a road hazard. We attempted to search our claim database using the customers name, email, and phone number with no success. Without further detail to look up the specific claim in question, it is difficult to comment on this specific scenario. However, our claim center prides itself on an industry leading claims approval rating of 99% with over ****** satisfied customer claims processed annually. It is our goal to ensure all claims are processed per the program terms and customers receive coverage when applicable.
Should the customer want to cancel and refund the program, they would need to submit a request directly through their selling dealership as that is who they received the program from.

On 2/5/2022 ******** ***** charged me for Nitrofill warranty, I constantly asked can it be used in ************ and was told yes we have over 400 locations. That was a deceptive up sell, there’s no location in ************ and when I call the Nitro number I never get through. I was never told about the cancellation policy. I’m frustrated that I paid for something I can’t use, I’m not driving an hour away just to get tire filled. I would like my $600 refunded due to shady up sales.

Hello. First, I'd like to apologize for any misrepresentation you feel you’ve received from your dealership.

As part of your warranty, you receive complimentary tire top-offs at your original selling dealership. If you are unable to go to your selling dealership, another NitroFill dealer, at their sole discretion, may charge you for the tire top-off service. Based on your zip code, it appears the closest location is ***** ***** of ********** followed by ******** *****. Please note, in the event you are unable to top-off your tires, your Road Hazard and Roadside Assistance warranty would remain in effect until the warranty expiration date and can be used nationwide including Canada.

Any communication regarding refunds should be direct towards your selling dealership.

      Thank you.
