On 9/2/2023, Blackwelder *************************** was called to my church at ************************************************************************************** to repair the water well. There was no water in the well. They came and replaced some material, but they did not repair the well as they were paid to do. I paid them a total of $2228.19 (check #****) only to find that there was still no water in the well and there was no water going to the church restrooms or the kitchen. Prior to their work, all the faucets and restrooms were working just fine. The person I dealt with was named *****. I tried calling him to notify him that the well was still not working properly. He said that he had tried everything he could and wasn't able to fix it. So I had to call a different company to fix what they hadn't repaired and what was left undone. I had ************************* with ******************************** ************* come on 9/25/23 and said that the previous company hadn't cleaned the newly replaced well jet. He did the work and repaired everything for an additional $3000 (check #****). So I would like to get a refund from Blackwelder ***************************** since they were not able to finish the job.

This complaint is not a correct depiction of the work.
I am ***** Blackwelder and i was on site with *********************** as was the owner of the property while the work was being preformed. We arrived on property from a complaint of no water working at all. The contradicts the customer complaint that all water was functioning properly as it was not. After trying to prime the well with no success we set up and pulled the jet. We had three men and two trucks on the job on Saturday morning for well over three hours. We went above and beyond what most pump companys would have done just to get the jet out of the well as it was stuck and would not budge. After an hour of beating the pipe up and down with a ************************* we finally got it freed up. Once we got it out we measure the water table and moved the jet in the well to allow it to hold prime. We were able to prime the pump and get it pumping water and showed the customer the current condition of the well and the equipment. He was issued a bill and paid upon completion of services. The well was not producing very well and as he is abbutting city water a new well cannot be installed. We were called back out a few days later for a complaint of no water again. At that time the jet was pulled a second time to double check the work and clarify the ***** water table and condition. It was reinstalled and the customer was again informed of the ***** condition. The billing amount that was originally billed was for labor and materials for the performance of the work. All avenues were exhausted to try and preserve the customers well. We have no personal control over any customers existing well or the development of that well. All services that were billed were preformed by owners and were done in front of the customer.  There was a conversation with the customer about a refund after the second attempt to repIr the well and he was informed at that time that all services were preformed and that no refund would be issued for services rendered. We even offered to make the city water connection for free to try and help. If there are any further problems in refrence to these please feel free to contact me directly

Hello. I had been trying to send the response and even yesterday night tried again but it would time out and apparently never sent. It looked like it was trying to send and then eventually I would get the blank template and Id have to start all over. I hope that I can still submit my response that I tirelessly attempted to  send for the past few days.
I completely understand that Blackwelder Pump & Irrigation performed some work and that they replaced some parts. My only issue is that I paid for a service and it was not completed to my satisfaction. They did not fix the problem that they were called to fix. I had to pay a second company to make repairs from what Blackwelder had left and fix the initial problem. I believe I should be reimbursed for partial payment from Blackwelder since they did not complete the job.
