On January 22 2024 I took my 2018 ****** Murano in for an oil change, they said everything looked hood to go. I drove off and about 10 minutes later my car started smoking, i thought it was just maybe a lil bit off oil had dripped on the motor, after 45 mins of driving it hadn't. On Tuesday morning i was advised to bring it back so i did. i pulled up and the service manager came out to ask what was going on and i informed him my car had been smoking since my oil change the day before. he checked my oil and said there appeared to be be a bit extra oil in it and to pull it into bay #1. he redid the oil change and told me at the end he replaced to s**** and rubber washer for the drain plug because there was just a tad bit of oil on it, when i asked why wasn't it seen yesterday he said they wouldn't of seen it because of the vac system they use. i asked why wasn't it drained by the drain plug, he just said it was safer by using the vac system . ***** then told me sometimes the vac systems don't always get all the oil out on certain motors and a ****** was apparently one of them and he would make a note on the computer to let it be known again he told me i was good to go and if i had any other problems than bring it back .i asked him if it was safe to go have a mechanic and have him check it out because it was still smoking he said yes it was safe to drive. i had to wait until Thursday to go to the mechanics, they looked it over and said it needed to replace PCV Valve and hose and he would get the parts in by the next morning. i took the car to the mechanic and it cost me $212.64, i was told to take the receipt to Valvoline and explain that i had to pay out of pocket for a car repair that was caused by too much oil in my car. I was told when i took the receipt up there i had to call the ************* number and file a claim, i went home and did just that. Saturday morning Jan 27,2024 a gentleman called and said i need to bring my car back to they could do a Entire Fuel Cleaning but i wasn't sure about driving it because it was running terrible. Monday morning January 29,2024 a man from Valvoline cane to my home test drive the car and said it was safe to drive up there. They did the treatment on the car and told me at first to drive it around for 15 minutes and if i still had ant problems with it, i drove it around and about 25 mins later i brought it back. i told the how bad it was driving and that the check engine light was back on and he then walked over to what he said was the areal manager and came back and said it needs to driving around for a couple days, again if it wasn't better than bring it back. I took my car back on Wed Jan 31, ******************************************************************************************************** so and if not better bring it back. took it back on Thursday and the service manager wasn't working. This morning Feb. 2, 2024 i called to make sure the manager was in and he informed me there was nothing else they can do for my because the areal manger looked at cameras and said they did everything right and because i had a 3rd party look at the car.
