Great company and people to work with.We were waiting on our insurance to pay our roof claim. Charger Construction and tarpped our roof to avoid leaks in our building. They came by every time it rained to make sure all tarps were secure.When it came time to do the roof. They did a very clean and efficient job.we love our new roof and have no issues.I would recommend Charger Construction 100%

In my limited interaction with Charger Construction I was unimpressed. Approximately 4 weeks ago I made an appointment for this past week to receive a quote for new windows. I allotted the time off of work to meet and discuss the project with the representative. The morning of the scheduled meeting I received a call confirming our appointment for later in the day. While speaking with the employee who called they asked if I had already received the "rest of the quotes" I was going to get. I replied I still had another company coming in the near future. Immediately the rep pivoted to change my appointment from that day to one in the future. I then stated "why would I change this appointment, it's been scheduled for over 3 weeks". The answer i received was quite troubling. "when we come out, we are going to beat everyone's price and sell the customer" While I appreciate they want to beat everyone's price, what difference does it make if they are the 1st or 4th Contractor I meet with if this is their guarantee? If they were the 1st I met with, then why wouldn't I give them a chance to beat a competitor? I have no idea the quality of the windows they represent because when you go to their website chargerconstructionfl.com it only references they are a roofing contractor. To top it all off, I lost a day of vacation time because they didn't keep the appointment. When I am going to spend a significant amount of money for a project like new windows on my house, I like to research the quality of the product as well as the company. Try finding them in a Google search, every listing dups you into BBB or some site that gives info but not their actual site. I only found the Website when I saw it listed on the BBB site. Very unhappy with this type of business model, if you know your business, have fair prices and treat customers right you always have a chance to earn theirs. Very unhappy, by the way, their Facebook page shows roofing and only has 18 "likes"

We did make it very clear when you were scheduling your appointment that you have all of you estimates ready when we were scheduled for. This is our company policy and we follow rules and regulations. Unfortunately when we called to confirm you clearly stated that you did not have all of the estimates in order as of yet. That's when we asked you to reschedule. We aim to sell a customer and ask that they have their estimates ready so that we can compare apples to apples. We are very busy and there is definitely a reason for that, our prices are very good. Hurricane impact windows are very expensive and we do our best to give you the right price, and that is the reason for all estimates to be there once we come out.We did call you again to try to reschedule your appointment and you refused. We are sorry you missed a vacation day it was not intentional whatsoever, we just asked that you have all your estimates ready and you did not, therefore it was evident you were not ready to purchase. Hurricane impact windows are very comparable as far as style. There is vinyl or aluminum. Manufacturers are very similar they have to have a Notice of Acceptance in the state of Florida to even manufacture or sell their window. If you wanted to do research I would have been happy to give you the website for all the manufactures of your choice, as I said very similar windows different prices.We as a company do not follow social media ********** so much as we are very busy at this time making our current customers happy, we feel that is more important!!We have many satisfied customers that we have actually done the work for.Sorry you missed out on the great opportunity to do business with Charger Contruction of Florida.

Charger,Go back and listen to the recording when the confirmation call was made the MORNING of my appointment. Obviously Charger thinks they are the only company in Florida who is busy. On the confirmation call you will hear me clearly state that I had one estimate in hand, was waiting for another who was coming in the future. I don't make it a practice to take time off of work to waste my time or anyone else's, so for you to make the statement "we just asked that you have all your estimates ready and you did not, therefore it was evident you were not ready to purchase" is ridiculous. Did it every occur to Charger that not every contractor or consumer can make their schedule fit to YOUR timeline? It seems that if I had not been honest Charger would have honored the appointment and arrived for my consultation. Had I done this, I wonder if I had said I still needed to think about such an expensive purchase whether Chargers estimate would have been the same in a week? If every contactor conducted business in this fashion no work would be completed. Thankfully, there are companies in the marketplace that let their actions do the talking and have their ethics based on doing the right thing for the customer. Sorry **********************, your explanation glosses over the real issue, CUSTOMER SERVICE.

It was a wonderful experience working with charger construction. They arrived when they said they would they did an amazing job all the workers were very pleasant and courteous. And my roof is beautiful I would highly recommend charger construction especially for a tile roof
