Transaction dates: 12/07/2023 for $598.47 01/26/2024 $840.60 There is not enough space to explain all issues. Took car to Tuffys in Dec. for electrical issues draining my battery, parasitic draw. Day prior, object sensor warning light came on. They changed the Object sensor module. Took the car, radio still not working and had to replace the battery. Replaced battery next morning: check engine light came on for evap system. And my object sensor on my passenger side mirror was on and did not go off. Called Tuffys right away. They said it was something else but bring it in, it should not continue to drain my battery. I told them they changed that specific mod and now Im having issues with it and other issues I did NOT have previously. Took it in January, they charged me warranty fee and replaced evap system mod and my side mirror. My battery was still nearly dead, I charged my battery. It has lasted until 4/23 when I had to jump my car again, I have a parasitic draw they did not fix but also caused other issues. Car *** said they have issues with that Tuffy's location, there is no Flood damage. Called warranty place and was informed they should not have charged me another $250, they could just update the original claim I made because they did not fix the issue or soaked up the deductible since the problem still existed. I had electrical issues, and they can fix it all, not just the parasitic draw. I cannot explain all of the poor experience I had at this place, if someone calls I can provide more info. with interaction, lack of communication, excuses, changes in diagnoses and parts, and did not seem anyone knew. I do not trust them to return, would like to fix it at Car *** where I bought it, but it is hard to come up with the money. I returned to them because the new issues happened after they "fixed" the problem in less than 24 hours.

Multiple issues with electrical system. Rear object module was found to be faulty during her first visit while doing an oil change service. ******** approved repairs and she was charged her deductible per her contract on 12/7/23. She called a few days later about her battery being sluggish and we asked her to come in and we warrantied her battery that she had installed prior to her radio not working. She returned on 1/26/24 that her check engine light came on and after a free diagnosis we found that she needed an evaporative purge valve and right side mirror assembly for the sensor that was built into it. that mirror showed damage as if it was hit by something and affected the collision system. Looked into the radio issue that had nothing to do with her original issue and found the radio to turn on and off, but the radio is not our expertise. In her computer scan it also showed to have Lift Gate faults. Mentioned that it could be a flood vehicle being all the electronics are starting to have issues, but can't confirm. The warranty company also paid for the purge valve and mirror repair and she had to pay another deductible of $250 per her contract. We suggested she take the radio issue and other electrical issues to the dealer because that was outside of our expertise.

On 6/6/2022 I brought my truck in for a upper control arm replacement. I noticed some weird noises and uneven braking as well as difficulty stopping. This was extremely dangerous. This resulted in the tech putting my brake pads on backwards. I brought it back on 6/9/22 to get fixed. I did not bring it to any other shop before 6/6 and in between when I bright it back. resulting in $500 in repairs to my truck. The business did refuse to fix their mistake and was forced to take it to a different business for correction.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/28) */ Contact Name and Title: Carlos M., President Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: **************@tuffycolonialblvd.com This customer has been harassing our businesses on social media for something we did not do. We replaced the upper control arm on the front right side. The brakes were never removed and did not need to be removed. It was explained to the customer that his issue was from the previous shop that installed his brakes. When **** left with the vehicle, we noted that there may be an additional issue that we noticed. The suspension part was so bad and had so much excessive play, that his brake issue could not be noticed. **** then brought it back the following week and we inspected his vehicle for free. We found, created an estimate, and informed him that whoever did the brakes prior to the control arm installed that brake pads wrong and twisted the brake hose that caused a restriction and why he had a brake issue. The brakes were not removed when we replaced his control arm. The brakes did not need to be removed in order to replace the suspension part. We tried to explain everything to him and gave him a discounted price due to the business relationship we have with the company he works for. He then began to curse at my team members and insisted that I, as the owner, needs to pay for it. He threatened that if I don't pay for it, that he will go all over social media and ruin my reputation. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The owner is a lier including this response. They make empty threats against me and including false accusations. This is very unprofessional and very immature you should be ashamed of yourself. Own up to your mistakes and fix what you broke. The brakes on my truck still had a lot of life left and was forced to replace them due to their mistakes. They let me drive away with the brakes they put on backwards and was extremely dangerous. I am lucky to be alive. The trucks breaks were working perfectly fine before I brought it there and after they did not. When I brought it back the owner refused to fix their mistakes and was quoted for work on it which didn't need to be done as well. They expected me to pay for their mistakes as well as replace in good working condition parts which is fraudulent Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/06/29) */ There is no common ground. We as a company stand behind our work and we offer 2 Year/24 Month Warranty on Parts & Labor. We never touched the brakes on the vehicle. We only replaced a suspension part that the customer provided. I will not be issuing any payments to **** because we were not at fault. Mr. **** is a social media terrorist. He just wants something for free for a repair we did not do. Brake system is different than a suspension system. We never needed to remove the brakes. WE WILL NOT BE ISSUING ANYTHING TO MR. ****. If the pictures I submitted were reviewed, the hot spots on the rotor is caused my overheating over time. A week will not cause that kind of damage.
