Going against their own policies. And highly rude and disrespectful. Got told she didn't care that a lady was touching my child.

      Customer response

      08/29/2022

As today we had to leave. The manager, ******** (I think it is spelled differently, but due to not seeing her name tag I am not 100% positive.) had the maintenance man come on his day off just to make sure we left. I understand that they have issues with people leaving and causing problems. However, we have done nothing but, oblige to what we have been told to do. We were not trespassed nor DNR as my knowledge (the staff nor manager have said so) however she said we were not allowed on the property at all even if just seeing friends or family. We had to rush to leave the parking lot, scared she would have cops involved.

Not to mention, when I explained to her that I had only called the cops due to my fiance being hit in the throat, pushed down a few stairs, and chased in the parking lot. As he was only trying to come up the stairs to give me cigarettes for the day around 5:30am. She proceeded to say that the other party told her it was about drugs. However when I tried to explain that it was NOT about drugs in anyway. That it was because the day before the lady of the other party kept touching my 3 year olds daughters shoulder, rubbing her back, and being to extra friendly for our liking. Even after being asked days before to stop touching her and that if my daughter runs up to her to please tell her to listen to me. The lady of the other party said she understood. (As a grown woman would understand that the other party and us are not acquaintances anymore, and we did not conversate with them anymore, better than a three year old.) My fiance and I had talked about it the day before he saw the other lady do it again. He politely asked for her to not touch our child please, she got upset and said she was getting her boyfriend. However he never came down later that evening we were all in the parking lot he and her were on the other side we were on one side nothing was said nothing was done we minded our business they mind it theirs. However then the next morning is when the boyfriend of the other party decided to hurt my fiance.

As trying to tell the manager this I only got out that it wasn't about drugs it was about my child. She proceeded to tell me she did not care. That we had until Saturday and we needed to be thankful cause, she could kick us out right then with no refund. However, I feel that if the other party got to explain their side, then we should also have the right to explain our side. She was highly rude and disrespectful. Also, breaking their own policies. Not only did they never ask for my fiance ID, she never said anything to certain people drinking outside and will pick who gets in trouble for it. However, the policy states no drinking out of room. Nor no smoke marijuana in the parking lot.

I arrived on January 23rd 2022 and started work on January 24 as a traveling RN in Naples FL. My company core medical group paid $1500 for my stay until I found cheaper housing. I asked how many days can I stay until the $1500 is used. He told me until 2/12 and on 2/8 I was called to the office and berated by the manager, I had overstayed my time by three days. I tried to explain but she became worse. She told me I would have leave or pay. I told her I would leave . My daughter found me a place . The manager without my permission took $ 333 from my visa card on way to the new apartment. She should have told me the time was up before I over stayed by 3 days and the young man had given me the wrong dates. I sent a complaint in to Woodsprings but no one has answered after a week. Attached showing the receipt and the amount out if my account. I deserve a refund.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/23) */ After further investigation it appears that the guest checked in on January 23, 2022. It appears that the first payment was posted on 1/24/22 for $635.58. The second payment posted on 1/31/22 for $847.44 and the third payment posted on 2/8/22 for $16.98. All these payments were posted to a Master Card ending in ******* This guest had a balance of $194.88 when she checked out on 2/8/22 and since the third party company would no longer pay for her stay, the remaining balance was charged to Ms. ******'s Visa. The hotel did not charge $333.00 on her Visa (see attached folio). Please see the attached guest folio showing a running balance of charges and payments. The guest was charged the same rate plus taxes every day and you can see that the $1500 did not cover her through 2/12/22. We are sorry that the guest is unhappy with her stay, however, we will not be offering this guest any refund and request that you close this complaint. Thanks
