There was a signed contract (6/13/2023) between the business and myself for a patio door installation with a high impact sliding glass door. The deposit was cleared through my bank on May 19, 2023. The work was to begin ***** weeks from the signed date of the contract. I began contacting the business on 11/27/2023 through phone calls, emails, and texts. You cannot leave a message as the voice mailbox is full. The owner is not responding to emails or texts. There has been no work started at the address-*********************************************************************************************************. I cannot even get an answer as to the status of the ordering of the doors.Initial Complaint

1.On March 11, 2023 I was provided with a quotation to install replacement windows and doors in my home by Professional ***************************** Consultants, **** (PW&DC);2.A deposit of $12,000.00 was made to PW&** on 04/07/2023;3.PW&** was to install new windows in my home ***** weeks from the date of the contract;4.PW&** has not installed the windows and will not make contact with me to provide the status of the installation;5.A demand letter was sent to PW&**, Certified, Return Receipt Requested, on or about 10/03/2023 to install the windows or return the deposit, and they have not attempted to resolve this matter;6.The account/order/tracking number is unknown;7.This issue does not involve advertising except referral from a neighbor who had windows installed by PW&**.Initial Complaint

Transaction date, January 20, 2022 the company was to install windows and sliding doors total bill was to be ****** a deposit of ******* was given to ********************* to order windows and start the work To date the windows were never ordered and the work never began Numerous phone calls and texts have been sent with no response from ********************* Now all i want is to get my money back After reading the reviews I can no longer trust ********************* to do any further work on my homeBusiness response

Good evening,
Yes, I have a contract to install windows and patio doors. I was contacted by *****, and we did agree to install only the windows. However, my vendor requires the remaining balance to be paid in full on all products. I can assure you that all 3 windows and 2 patio doors are manufactured and are at my vendor. Please contact **** at ************ to verify that the product is there and ready for pick up.

I am rejecting this response because:My contract does not call for payment in advance. I have made the required down payment. The vendor has had these funds since Feb 2022. He has used these funds for other purposes other than to pay his supplier. He scheduled an installation after the Memorial Day holiday this year. He cancelled the appointment it seems because he does not have the funds to pay his supplier. He has been unresponsive to repeated calls and attempts to reschedule. His business is not located where he lists in his advertising. He agreed to install only the windows for an agreed upon price of $1,000 more than my down payment yet he fails to honor that agreement as well.

Entered a contract with Mike Graham of Professional Windows and Doors a year ago July 2021 to have 6 impact windows installed as well as a hurricane screen on my Lanai. Paid him 1/3 of the total contracted price. I was able to get the 5 windows installed in Feb 2022 and the last window (they lost one) in June 2022. He told me the lanai screen was still on order (only supposed to take 8-12 weeks from initial order) and that due to COVID it was delayed. He then scheduled time in late June 2022 to install but cancelled 1 week before stating his staff was sick. Have not heard from him in over a month and now his phone is disconnected, he has not been seen near his office, and no reply to email. We called the company making the lanai screen and they told us he informed them months ago that he was "retiring" and that they had no pending orders from him. He never ordered my screen and has $2,464 of my money and is gone. I've seen other complaints and it is clear he is gone with my money. Resolution is I would like my deposit back.Initial Complaint

On 12/30/2020 I contracted with Michael J. G***** of Profession Windows and Doors Consultants to build and install shades for my lanai. I gave Michael a deposit of $2880 for the work. After a long wait, Michael told me that he was having trouble securing the materials for the project. We agreed that he would continue to work to secure the materials and install in the Fall. When the Fall came, Michael indicated that he still could not get the materials. I gave him a little more time but it was clear that it wasn't going to work. So, in Jan 6, 2022. I requested a refund in writing. On 2/3/2022 Michael sent a check for $1500 in response to my request. He apologized for not sending the full amount. He promised to send the balance the next month. No check was forthcoming. Then I asked again in March 17 of 2022. He actually said that he would send the rest of the money shortly. Despite repeated requests, he has not sent the balance of the refund. I am seeking the balance of the refund from Michael G***** of $1380. When I last talked to him, he mentioned that he was trying to obtain a visa. (Is this to leave the country and escape his bills?)
