I needed some work done on my 268 Searay Sundancer. I called Blue Pelican Marina and they said, bring it in in 3 weeks, we will have an opening. I waited 3.5 weeks and called them, they said yes, bring it in. I wanted them to look at the engine to see if it was ok, as I had another guy rebuild the engine and was not sure he did it right. The looked at it and said, I have a new automobile distributor in it, which could cause spark, it had a new automobile starter, that could cause spark, and the fuel line needed to be breaded stainless steel as per requirement. Mine was rubber hose. I ordered a new marine distributor and had it to them in 3 days. They also said I need nee shifter cable, I said go ahead and order it. It was there 4 weeks, I had to pick it up as I was going out of the country. When I picked it up after 4 weeks, the bill was $0. As they never did a thing to fix any of it. After waiting 3 weeks to take it in, you would think they would get on it in a day or 2 after bringing it in as I was waiting for a opening Terrible service.

Mr. ******, as you know I inspected your boat and gave you a update on what parts that were needed do to non marine parts being installed on your boat by another dealer. I am sorry we could not get your boat completed in a timely manner do to my entire staff coming down with COVID. We called you to inform you that it would take a little longer to complete do to all my staff being sick. I did not charge you because I thought it was the right thing to do.Customer Response

Yes, your guys came down with COVID 3 weeks after the boat was in the shop. One thing to be done was install the new distributor. You guys did not do it, I myself did it yesterday and I'm not a mechanic, it took me one hour. The other was change the fuel line from rubber to steel braided. I don't think that would take long, so I'm doing it. COVID wa a good excuse, but it came after my boat was there 3 weeks.
