I was seen as a new patient at Women to Women OBGYN in March 2022. I presented for my annual women's health visit in which I also completed my annual blood work in ******. All charges for a women's annual visit is covered by my insurance at the time *********** Blue Shield). A few months later I received a bill from Quest Diagnostics stating that I owe $244.10 for lab charges. I contacted Quest and they stated that based on how the coding was sent over to them, they were incorrect and that is why I was charged. The representative stated I would need to contact the Dr ****** to have them send the correct coding/billing info over to Quest. In July 2022, I spoke with one of the front desk girls at the Dr ****** who told me I would need to contact ******, who is the person in charge of billing and coding. I spoke with ****** in which she told me that I needed to send a copy of the bill to her email and she will take care of the issue. I sent the email on 07/19/2022 and I have yet to hear back from her. I have called numerous times, in which I have left voicemails. I have also left messages at the front desk for her to return my phone call with the most recent being on 11/28/2022. I have been receiving reminder billing statements from Quest stating that payment is due and I just received a final notice in which they said after that, they will forward my bill to the collection agency. Now I am at risk of ruining my credit for non-communication on the Dr ******'s part. I need this resolved ASAP before further damage is done.
