Complaint Details:1. Description of the Transaction:On January 6, 2024, I purchased a 2011 ********************** truck from A&D Top Sales Corp. The down payment was $2500.00, but the contract was adjusted to show $3500.00 to impress the finance company, Western Funding.2. Promissory Note Discrepancy:The dealership coerced me into agreeing to the $3500.00 down payment when I initially intended to put down only $2500.00. They instructed me to inform the finance company that I put down $3500.00 and assured me that the extra $1000.00 was not a concern. Despite this, I signed a promissory note to pay $250.00 weekly for four weeks under this false pretense. Additionally, the promissory note was made out to Hollywood Top Cars, even though the transaction was with A&D Top Sales Corp.3. Vehicle Repossession:On February 22, 2024, the dealership repossessed the vehicle, claiming non-compliance with the promissory note. My first payment to Western Funding was scheduled for February 5, 2024. The dealership argued they still owned the vehicle since they held the title, even though Western Funding had paid them.4. Financial Hardship:This repossession caused significant financial hardship. I had to rent a vehicle from Enterprise Car Rental at $357.00 per week to meet my transportation needs.5. Unethical Practices and Reviews:Upon further investigation, I found numerous reviews from other customers reporting similar experiences with A&D Top Sales Corp and Hollywood Top Cars, where the dealerships refused to return down payments after repossession.Desired Outcome:I seek a resolution that includes the return of my down payment and reimbursement for the rental expenses incurred due to the vehicle repossession. I also request the BBB to investigate A&D Top Sales Corp and Hollywood Top Cars for their deceptive business practices to prevent other consumers from facing similar issues.

my best friend purchased a car from the dealership, and they gave in the car with $2000 down payment said that they needed $2000 more so he gave 1000 every week the dealer call my friend and they told him he needed to get $2000 he said they took the car away from him. That is the most small dealers are doing right now and it's called YO-YO loan. We went to get some and they said that all the money is.

I was trying to buy a car from Hollywood Top Cars. I am a serious cash buyer. I spoke with "****" who promised to help me with extra pictures and help in checking the car out (as I am out-of-state). Many calls and messages later when asked why she was not helping, she was extremely rude, said that she will not supply additional pictures, as promised. I asked to speak to the owner, Daisbelys ******** or Estanga *******************************. She refused and hung up on **** hope other potential customers will read this and not do business with this rude and unprofessional (hence likely not trustworthy) establishment.

I went to get my first car (a used vehicle) with Hollywood Top Cars on June 3 2023, with $5k down, and they let me off the lot with the car, under the assumption that I was approved by the bank and insurance company. Once the financing was not approved they harrassed me to get my own insurance otherwise threatened to repossess the car and asked me to come back in to re-sign paperwork as if I purchased it in July instead of June. I go back July 1, redo paperwork and was advised to complete the verification with the bank, while still at the dealer, to avoid them not approving me. Once I completed the verification with ******************* they allowed me to leave again with the car and gave me paperwork from Westlake showing my FIRST payment will be due August 2 2023. On July 12 2023, the car was repossed by the dealer. When I arrived to the dealer, with Hollywood police, the salesman only stated "There's nothing we're discussing with you and you can see us in court". Hollywood police had to intervene and demand a reason for the reposession AND paperwork proving they requested the reposession. After the repo documentation was provided and I showed my signed paperwork, the police advised that they are to refund me my money and I have to take them to civil court for the matter. I originally called police and reported my car stolen and they were the one to advise of the reposession, I have since lost days of work from a new job that I started only 3 weeks ago. I've suffered from emotional distress and anxiety. I am a single parent that gets no assistance from the other parent nor the government so I'm at a point where Im back at no car and no money. This is going to be costly on trying to find my way around to and from work and daycare. I also want to try to completely remove any association from A&D top sales, Hollywood Top Sales and ****************** off my credit report. I have all documents from the dealer, 2 police reports and the reposession paperwork.

On May 11th 2023 Bought a *** X1, paid cash $17,000 I will owe ***** to the dealer. We were told by text, ******** add and verbally at the dealer, the car had no accidents and had original low miles. They couldn't provide us at the time the car fax report. After leaving the dealer drove the car to ******* and arrived home with an engine light on, spend $1,600 to get it fixed as it wasn't drivable, the dealer hasn't returned any of our calls. We also found the car fax report and learned the it has a Savage title, two accidents and the miles were altered! They have done similar things before according to the reviews I am seeing now. We trusted them verbally and felt compelled by their busyness that day, but now we come to understand that all of these is how they operate to get away with the fraud. The he prices advertised are not the same so they are price gauging. They need to be held accountable and we need a resolution right away as we can't even drive the car now.

I had previously seen a dodge charger 2015, advertised by them on ******** market place. Salesman, **** told me the car was in perfect condition, clean title, and ready to be taken out of dealer. I Gave them a down payment of $4300, but they still asked me to add $1200, which they had to be paid by an amount of $300 every week.On October 31 (2 days later) the car staring having trouble, the light of the check in went on. I took the car to my own mechanic, and he told me the car had Transmission problems. I text the sales **************** ( I have proof of the text) He told me to bring it to get it checked by them. I took the car on 10/31, and they stayed with the car for 5 days. On 11/05/22 after I pick up the car, I got a called from ****************** asking me if I knew the title was rebuild, which I told them I had no idea, When I called the dealership, I spoke to *****, Financial person, and he reassure it was a mistake made by bank.Regardless, the car was still not working, problem still persist, and on top of everything they dented the car, by the door, on passenger side.4 days later the bank called again, to find out if they still wanted me to refinance the car if the title was rebuilt, bank kept insisting on this,. When I called them they said, yes, the title was rebuild, but they refused to give me back my money. or give me another car.I left for a few days and when I came back on the 11/26 the car was gone. where I live, they told me they took the car on the 23t My first payment was due on 12/08/22, I never received a welcome package from ******************.
