On June 28, we ordered some furniture from Coastal Furniture. It was delivered around July 29 to our house. After it was delivered, I noticed that one of the rocker recliners had an issue that the chair would still move a little when the leg rest was up when you shifted your weight slightly and it feels like you are bouncing. None of the other recliners we tested in the store did this and neither does the other rocker recliner we purchased at the same time. I called the store on 7/31 to report an issue. On 8/11, ****** from the store came out and looked at the chair. He sat in the chair for about a minute and he said that there was not a problem. He did admit that the chair did move slightly. He told me that he could not do anything about the issue because he didn't know what to replace to correct the issue. He told me if it got worse, to let him know. Well this issue has gotten worse. I called the store on 8/16, 8/25, 8/31, 9/7 and left messages that I would like this chair fixed under warranty. The store never returned my call. Finally, when I called the store on 9/12 I was able to talk to ****** again. During our conversation he said that he would send some one out that actually works on recliners to check the recliner. Then a minute later he said he changed his mind and wasn't going to send any one to look at my chair and then hung up on me. He response totally baffles me. All I have done is request that he fix my chair under warranty. I have been very patient with this company trying to get this resolved,The rocker that has a problem cost $930. Also when ****** was at my house he offered to take the chair back and give me a store credit minus 20% plus an additional $100 shipping charge. He wanted to charge me over $280 to return a brand new chair - that is wrong. All I want is my chair fixed under warranty
