I have been waiting for Decker to finish my cabinet project for over 2 months. They have continually made promises, then excuses. My last email with the owner, ***** was, " take the balance owed, (only $200) and finish the job yourself!" I tried to call her several times with no response, only the email. I told her in the email that it would cost me more than that $200 to finish my cabinet install. I'm going to file thus complaint first, then if needed take them to small claims court.What's happening is she's selling a portion of her business to another shady company called ********** consulting..Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Good afternoon,
I am NOT SATISFIED with her response, my question now is, aren't they still liable/responsible for finishing the job? If not, how do I get this finished?
I know the company that she sold it too...are they now responsible?

We call in a General Contractor to assess the situation. He stated that we were not responsible for the "issue" with the ceiling. Period. I offered ***** to keep the money he owed us/balance due as a gesture of good faith.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I am not discussing the damage that was done to my ceiling, I am discussing the work that has NOT BEEN PERFORMED, Baseboards, New Side Panel, Granite set, Trim installed and repairs. The job was left unfinished!

The situation and my words have been grossly mischaracterized. The client has received what his has paid for to date. As noted, This Business is closed. We are, upon the assessment of a general contractor, NOT responsible for the issues the client is having with his ceiling.Customer response

This Business is, and has been, a Habitual Liar. I am Finished with asking politely to Finish the Contract Signed project. I have asked nicely trying to find out "where" materials were purchased in order to try to complete this uncompleted project with no reply! My only recourse is to make sure that The BBB puts a "black" **** on their record as well as Land & ************** then I will be filing a Lawsuit in Small Claims Court to recoup all monies spent to finish an unfinished job. Buyer Beware of any Business owned by **** Decker or *********************!

Order placed Nov 2021, company never came to house to measure replace old cabinets and stated counter remanent I picked "should " work. Vanities finally arrived in Feb and came to install 1st 72" vanity with 3 parts to it. Just placed cabinets without any wood fillers or shims or make level to fit to the length of existing cabinet. Came a few days later with countertop and placed on cabinet and noticed imperfections of stone not laying flat on cabinet on right side . Also had to pull countertop away from wall due to remanent sold to me not big enough for job. I have pictures of what it looks like before and after I had to hire another contractor to fix the very shoddy job they did for a custom cabinet company . I also have text messages from Sara D***** saying she would do anything to satisfy me that they had other remanent to pick from. She is trying to say my husband yelled at workers at house and I was there and he did not whatsoever. Also the owner himself put the countertop on and I know there was no confrontation then either . He did go to the shop after we looked over the work and seeing all the flaws in the workmanship and told them I was upset . We also had another vanity to be done in other bathroom. After saying she would do anything to satisfy me I took time from work and came up there and she said they will not fix our cabinet nor fulfill our contract. I was so upset that a supposedly custom cabinet company should go above and beyond to make sure of customer satisfaction but they did not. We had to hire another company to completely take this entire cabinet apart from the to Top to each vanity and put shims and fillers and leveling of the cabinets to make it level for the countertop to leave flat on the surface. So I have pictures of there Shoddy job. I also have pictures of after the other contractor fixed all their flaws and how it looks now in any text messages from her. I have never had to report anything to the Better Business Bureau ever before .Business response

You filed a dispute with the credit card company, requesting a full refund for the vanity cabinets that are in your home - this dispute was decided in Decker's Granite & Cabinet Shop's favor. You were not charged for, nor did you pay for the master bath's (old) cabinetry removal. You were not charged for, nor did you pay for, the Cambria Countertop, or the sinks which are currently installed in your master bath. The vanity cabinetry for your 2nd bath was delivered to your home at no cost to you. It was my decision to terminate our business relationship; this was a direct result of Mr. ****'s conduct/behavior toward our employees and toward me, personally. Actions have consequences. I made this decision on behalf of our team, despite Decker's Granite & Cabinet Shop taking a substantial financial loss on the project. We all wish this would have turned out differently. The cabinets were delivered but your "Customer Satisfaction and Quality of Workmanship " is Very Poor is why my husband came up to shop to begin with. I had a signed contract for a job to be done and what they did to start as the installation process was not acceptable. I was there as I said previous that my husband said nothing to workers at house . You are just trying to accuse him of my dissatisfaction of your company's shoddy installation . I have text messages where clearly you Lied that you would work with me to make me happy.Also stating that in the picture oh it looks like quartz is bowed. When your cabinet installers came in they should automatically level and shim and put fillers in the cabinets to make sure this is all level . The stone was not bowed so you Lied about that also...The other contractor said it all had to do with what needed to be done in the first place they should of done to level and fillers as said above . They just placed them there without proper installation. So as for you saying paying for the cabinets is irrelevant when it comes to fulfilling the contract . Every company charges a certain percent down to start a job but you add , cabinets only and 2nd page states cabinets,countertops you are contraindicating it includes both. This is your cover for any shoddy job to make money clearly because no 36" cabinet and 2-27"cabinets and one 18"cabinet with drawers cost $2999.00. Like I said before I have pictures and text messages about what Sara D said . And pictures of before and after repairs that had to be done to fix there work that was more than half A**. I would like to settle this dispute over going to far as court with this company because I feel was given very poor Quality and Service with their company. Thank you . ******* ****. You went back on the contract and charging 2999.00 for 2 vanities and did not complete or even try to Satisfy a customer whatsoever. That is Poor Business as far as I'm concerned and others I have spoke with about your company . You expect someone to accept a half A** job of installation. The text messages I have shows what a "LIAR " you are that you would work with me to sort this out and you didn't. Also saying the quartz is bowed when it clearly was the cabinets that either defective and had to be leveled or your shoddy workmanship. The bank is the one who informed us to report your actions to the BBB due to breaking a contract and not even following through with Customer Satisfaction!!!! All you did was lie to cover up all the mistakes that were made by not following through. . As far as I am concerned this is not done .
