    From the beginning, I fell in love with a dress and was assured by the seamstress that the front could be altered according to our discussed plan. However, I had to return to the shop almost every day for a week, only to be informed that the structure of the dress was ruined and the alterations could not be achieved. I had expressed my concern to the seamstress that she might have damaged the dress, and she casually agreed. It would have been better if I had been informed after the first or second visit, rather than wasting my time and effort coming repeatedly to the shop, especially with the wedding just a week away. Unfortunately, the story doesn't end there. With just three days left before my wedding, I found myself without a dress. The owner, Shantel, provided an alternative dress one size smaller but had raised the price, with a visible alteration on the ticket. When I questioned this, she simply responded that she can do what she wants as the owner and claimed the original price was marked incorrectly. However, it's hard to believe that this discrepancy went unnoticed for two whole months until the day she tried to sell me the dress. It feels unethical, and in this situation, as a business, the shop should have offered the alternative dress at no additional cost to make the customer happy. I ended up buying the second dress as I had no other options just days before the wedding, despite not being in love with it. The alterations done by the seamstress left obvious wrinkles, making it clear that the dress was too small for me. I had to settle for it, and this was not what I had planned for in my budget. I believe a full refund is justified – for the dress that I initially loved but was destroyed, and for difference in price I paid for that the shop owner should have taken responsibility for. I understand that this puts a financial burden on the shop, but it was their mistake that led to this situation, and I should not be paying for their errors.
