I stayed at this hotel 5/22/23. I had to change rooms twice. The first room smelled vey moldy like an old basement. The second room smelled ok but very warm. I noticed the ac was in pieces and unusable. The hotel must have communication problems to allow that to happen. The third room tv didn’t work properly and was unable to change channels without freezing up. Bathroom had no exhaust fan, so mirror was unusable after shower. The tub spout was loose. The morning breakfast potatoes undercooked. Hotel said they would not remove the charge. In addition, I tried to contact the manager. Twice I was given a full mailbox message. What a total disappointment!Initial Complaint

I stayed at the Best Western Plus ********************************************* in ******* from September 11, 2022 to September 18, 2022.My confirmation number is: ********* I was charged $654.56 From Wednesday to Sunday there was no hot water at the hotel. I didn't even receive a notice that the hot water was out. I had to inquire myself every day for updates hoping it would get fixed. If I was informed on day of and status of how long it would take to get fixed I could of went somewhere else so I could have a simple hot shower. Besides having no hot water for five days of a seven night stay there were so many other issues (dirty/stained sheets, smelly room, dirty floor, etc.). At check out I was given two emails to contact the manager and I've been emailing the two emails I was given and tried calling the hotel many times but we keep "missing" the manager and have yet to hear a response in over two months. I also contacted best western customer service and was told that they did not receive a response from the hotel upper management and I was told that "if I am looking to pursue this further, I would have to do so by avenues other than best western."There are similar reviews left on trip advisor and yelp about the hot water issues and the manager "Heta P" just response to them with the same basic copy and paste response.According to the best western customer service the only way for me to get a refund is to get in contact with the hotel which they are not being responsive.Initial Complaint

We checked into a dirty dangerous room Conditions we faced : Food on the floor Urine and pubic hairs around the base of tiolet. Sock in a bed Dangerous electrical socket- wires coming out No iron or dryer in room Lack of towels Stickers on the wall No one gave us fresh towels or changed garbage. We ended putting outside of door. For the custodian to pick upBrought these issues to the lobby and promised to clean our room . Never did .we were lied to. Never moved to another room Most dirty hotel and unsanitary hotel eve Poor management and no real resolve to these housekeeping issues.I want a full refund we we promised a solution and never followed thru we left a day earlyInitial Complaint

I booked the best western hotel on 3/4/22. I decided to cancel my reservation and I cancelled it. On 3/7/21. My debit card was trying to be charged 245.00 which did not go through. Best western then called me and I advised them that I never checked in. They stated okay and we hung up. They then tried to charge me on 3/8 for $416.00 which did not go through. I called best western and inquired why I'm being charged when I did not check in or stay there. The lady I spoke to hung up on me in mid conversation and stated there was nothing they can do to stop it. This morning. My card was charged the full $416 and money was taken out of my account and they refuse to give me a refund. If I did not stay at this hotel. I should he compensated and refundedBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/03/14) */ we have all ready refunded for both rooms, how ever we will not be refunding one night room n tax each night . reservation was never cancelled . Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/03/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) All together for the hotel i was charged $867.78. They refunded me back 403.97. That still leaves 463.81. Even if they charged me for one night room that's 180.00 which still would have left me with $283.81. I'm trying to figure out why am I still not receiving my proper refund. The math isn't adding up & the $180 a night came out the managers mouth so they still owe me more money Business Response /* (4000, 21, 2022/04/06) */ we have already refunded guest for remining of stay we Thanks
