Pressure wash and chlorine clean algae from pool walls and floor. Refill pool water. (24 hours) Return to add all essential chemicals and adjust salt levels to chemically balance pool water in salt generating system to be ready for swimming., 1 @ $895.00 Then had the nerve to bill me 163.00 the next day for putting salt in my pool which was part of the 895.00 I paid for the cleaning of the pool. Then they had the nerve to send me a reminder weeks later of the 163.00 This company is a rip off

We had the pool repair guys do a resurface on our pool in 2016. Initially it looked great especially since the old surface was horrible when we bought the house. In 2019 we noticed a small hole starting to chip off in the corner by the step. I called and spoke to Tracy and she said she would setup the repair team to come out. With the house being a rental I asked to schedule while we were there. Of course they didn't show up. I texted Tracy and said we will have to wait till we are there again because we have guests for the next several weeks. A week or 2 later we had guests checking in and they arrive to people in the pool doing "repairs". I immediately texted Tracy again and asked to have Bobby call me, but of course hee doesn't. They took and sanded several spots on the pool that didn't need anything and literally took a glob of the patch and stuck it on. So now we have 4-6 spots around the pool that look like hemroids. I again call Tracy and say that's unacceptable and they didn't even fix the spot that was bad. She again assured they would come back and fix it. They come back, drain the pool half way and start sanding again completely destroying our finish about 8" down from the tile. A few weeks ago I tried getting Bobby to call me about this situation. We are 6 years in and our pool is crumbling. He gave me the same excuse he gives everyone. Worse pool heat seen in 20 years and refused to call back because it's all our fault. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IVE HEARD MANY OTHER HORROR STORIES AS WELL.

Firstly, and most importantly! ....we care about all of our customers and always try to do the right thing, until of course they get abusive and start threatening lawyers!

This job, and this situation was no different, and we believe that we went above and beyond to help the client even when they didn't have a warranty, nor did they follow the guidelines detailed in our warranty paperwork.
The first thing that the customer failed with, was to ensure that the pool was being properly maintained by a licensed professional, and furnish us with those details. They did neither.

When we were first called about an issue with the surface we asked for the chemical balancing history of the pool as that is what the product manufacturer asks us as their first question in any warranty situation. They weren't able to produce any, ...but we went ahead and did the right thing by treating them as if they HAD followed the warranty procedures and properly maintained the pool, which clearly they hadn't. We did this because we felt that it was the right thing to do, and as a general courtesy towards a customer. We did this of our own accord and not by claiming back through the product manufacturer who would have denied any claim at the get go, because of their lack of history with the pool care.

Being out of the country during the pandemic, for longer periods than I had wished for, I wasn't personally able to visit the pool until I returned. When we got the call recently claiming that the surface was falling apart, I immediately (that day) made a trip over there to check things out personally, (that's what we do!), even though there was no warranty (manufacturers warranty expires after 5 years). We are now 6 1/2 years down the road.

When I arrived, I first thought that I was at the wrong pool, as everything looked great at first glance, (please feel free to email thepoolrepairguy@aol.com for these pictures!). On closer inspection I was able to see some areas below the tile line where the surface material looked to have thinned out somewhat, but nothing that caught your eye, and it was difficult to pick this up on the latest iPhone camera, but I took pictures and left, as the homeowner wasn't there to discuss anything.
We were there to help, and offer guidance on how best to deal with the pool moving forward, but the next correspondence that we got had claims of wanting the pool redone and threatening attorneys. That's when we needed to cut loose from the situation. We were at a job trying to help a customer who didn't comply with the warranty guidelines at any point in the 6 years, and they were 18 months out of warranty at this point anyway.
We are happy that we get to present our side of the story, as it clearly differs from the customers, and readers should be able to hear both sides and make their own mind up as to what really went on here.

Let's not forget something I learned in the military, that's been the reason that we do this every single day at every job:
"A picture paints 1000 words" ....and we would be delighted to show anyone reading this the ACTUAL condition of the pool, in the pictures that we took recently. Email address is above.

It's a real shame that this homeowner acted in the way that they did, because we would have been the best company around to help them with their pool.

I would love to show our pictures of the "repairs" as well. None of those areas were falling off until your crew showed up and started grinding it just so everyone is aware!

We are not getting into a tittle tattle argument over this.

You are out of warranty by 18 months. That's the bottom line here.

We offered to help even knowing this fact, but you became demanding and abusive, which we did not deserve or appreciate, so you are on your own now. Good luck.
