In January 2022 I made a payment on the store but it did not go through. Then I made a payment online and I was successful on Jan 15. Because of suspicions of fraud, I called my bank to stopped payment on this merchant after the payment I made. Unfortunately, they stopped the payment I did and the account was never paid and I was not aware of that. On April, after getting a statement from Sallys stating that I owe them, I called them on April 5th. I did pay the total I owed and closed the credit card on April 5th, however they reported me to the Credit Bureaus on April 6th. I demand the merchant to revoke that false report because I did pay on time, it was not my fault the banks mistake, and I have paid the full total amount owed to them before closing the account the day before they reported me.Business response
