I purchased a home that had a new roof put on before I bought it. I moved in in July, and 2 days later, we had a storm and the roof was leaking in multiple places. I contacted the roofing company and they came to look at it, and put flex seal on the roof. This did not fix the issue. I contacted them again by phone, text, and email and received no response. My realtor and previous owner also tried contacting them with no response. I just wanted the roof fixed since it was still under warranty. I had multiple other roofing companies look at the roof and they all concluded that Belcher Roofing did not put counter flashing on the roof and this was causing the leaks. My roof leaked every time it rained and since I got no response from Belcher Roofing, and was starting to get mold in my attic, I had another roofing company repair their errors. This cost me $1300. I would like this to be refunded to me because they should have fixed the errors they made, as it was their error and is still under warranty.Business response

We responded to the complainant several times regarding her situation and in good faith tried to assist her. The issues she was having were caused by the fact that she is in a duplex and it is because of a roof the neighbor had installed and a rotted outside wall on the neighbors part of the building causing the leaks. She should be looking to the neighbor to assist in paying for repairs.
