I was contacted by a company hired by One Life America to market their presentations. They had a dinner program on Oct. 6th, 2022. I said myself and a guest would go. I was called by the marketing company the day before the meeting and they left a voicemail stating that the meeting was still going to happen and the date, time, and location. I went, ordered dinner from a limited menu I was given that I thought was for the program. Then no one from the company showed up. I called the marketing company and they said they would have the representative, Craig S******* call me. He left a message at my home. After we ate, I paid, someone had to. It was $61.50 for myself and the guest I had registered for the program. I got home, listened to Craig S*******'s message to return the call. I did, he told me he would get in touch with his manager, Gary phone ************. Craig said I talk loud, I told him I am in my 60's with problems hearing. (Wonder why he does Medicare business if he doesn't seem to like the way old people are?) I have left message for Gary with no return calls. I called Craig and told him I thought personally that his company was acting dishonestly. I even played back the recorded message where it said the meeting was going to be held-there had been a hurricane. His last comment to me was I really don't care. This is NOT right I should not have to pay the $61.50. I told him I want a refund. Their number on your website has been disconnected. His number is ************. I need help. People should not be able to do this to people on Medicare.
