I lived at Brittany Bay for years, and was never late on my payments. I moved out in July 2023. They reported to the 3 major credit bureaus in December 2023 that I owe a "cleaning fee" of $377. I paid this balance off August 17, 2023. I have receipts from Brittany Bay, and also receipts from my bank account showing I paid this debt. I have never received a letter or bill since I moved out. They just immediately reported it to the credit bureaus without letting me know so I can take care of this. My score has dropped 100 points because of this.Business response

After reviewing the file, it should of never have been sent to PDM collections. We are in the process of correcting and removing from all reporting credit agencies as the account shows in our system paid in full. Our apologies and will get corrected immediately.

I have lived in Brittany Bay for 6 months in those 6 months Ive had my water turned off almost every month sometimes twice a month for repairs but Brittany bay refuses to provide any discount on our water bills which isnt fair if we cant use our water on multiple occasions which is what we as consumers pay for then we deserve a discount. Thats my first issue my second issue is Ive spoken to Brittany Bay multiple times regarding roaches in the apartment and around the building its disgusting they have failed to do anything and now months later I still have roaches in my kitchen!! I am very unsatisfied with Brittany Bay as a business and the property manager **** is absolutely horrible I spoke with her regarding my concerns and she proceeded to call me a f***** and call the cops on me but Ive already retained a lawyer for that part but this complaint is to let Brittany bay know they cannot just treat there Tenants any kind of way and think we will be ok with it I would like for them to accommodate us with a discount for the issue with the water and to fix the ***** problem please.Business response

Tell us why here... Allegation 1: ************** alleges that the propertys water supply was shut off for 3 days
and it is constantly being shut off almost daily.
a. Landlords Response: Brittany Bay provides fresh water supply to its residents as
provided by *************************. As a property that was built in the early
1970s, Brittany Bays underground water mains sometimes require repairs. On or
about August 9, 2023, a significant break in an underground water main pipe was
detected. ******************* immediately engaged a reputable plumbing
contractor to make the needed repairs. Those repairs were made over a four-day
period in August and water service was shut off at times during those four days.
While water shut offs are frustrating for residents and staff alike, unfortunately,
they are sometimes necessary and outside of property managements control.
Importantly, property management always emailed all residents at least one day in
advance providing advance notice to all residents. The water outages were within
a repair window of 9:30 am and 4:00 pm and designed to cause the least
inconvenience possible.Allegation 2: ************** alleges roaches inside and outside his apartment. **************** is scheduled to treat every apartment
unit in the community at least once every three months and will perform
unlimited treatments between quarterly treatments on request at no cost to the resident every Monday. ************** last request for pest control service was during the month of May ****************************** documentation of work order request for treatment.In summary, we believe that the allegations in ****************** complaint are completely
unfounded and without merit.Thank you,
