Frank air installed a new air conditioning system in my home. 2 years old it started making a terrible noise. So I called them out they checked out found a leak then charged me for more Freon service call and maintenance.. So they put me off for two months I had to call them to see about fixing it twice. They told they lost the order in a pile of stuff. Damn really. So now don’t you think that the system was defective from the beginning or maybe they messed up and damaged it during installation. I certainly didn’t do any thing to it. Frank told that being two weeks out of warranty for the repairs they were going to charge over 900.00 to fix it. Find a better company that stands behind there installation.Business response

SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED 08/12/2021. SYSTEM CAME WITH A 10 YEAR PARTS 1 YEAR LABOR WARRANTY. ON 08/17/2023 WE CAME OUT DUE TO A NOISE COMLAINT. CUSTOMER STATES, OUTSIDE MAKES LOUD NOISE INTERMITTENTLY. ABOUT 3 TIMES IN THE LAST MONTH.
CHECKED SYSTEM OPERATION. DID NOT HEAR NOISE FROM OUTSIDE SYSTEM SO WE CHECKED THE SYSTEM OUT.
-Checked condenser fan motor, compresser amp draw, normal.
-Checked condenser dual cap, was normal.
-Cleaned out condensate line/pan.
-Checked ac system pressures, were low, added 1 pound of refrigerant.
-Performed electronic leak, found refrigerant leak in evap coil.
-AC system working normal at this time.TRIP CHARGE: $81
R-410A: 1 # $59
TOTAL: $140
WE TOLD CUSTOMER THAT SOMEONE WOULD CONTACT HER ABOUT HER LEAKING EVAP COIL. WE DID NOT CONTACT HER. CUSTOMER CALLED IN OCTOBER TO ASK ABOUT HER LEAKING COIL. AT THIS POINT THE SERVICE MANAGER QUOTED HER TO REPLACE THE EVAPORATOR COIL. $806. CUSTOMER STATED THAT SHE DID NOT LIKE THE PRICE AND SHE DID NOT WANT TO PROCEED WITH THE REPAIR. WE UPDATED THE INVOICE TO ONLY HAVE THE SERVICE CHARGE AND 1 POUND OF REFRIGERANT AND SENT TO CUSTOMER FOR PAYMENT. THE SYSTEM WAS NOT DAMAGED DURING INSTALLATION AND THE SYSTEM IS NOT DEFECTIVE.
