I was under verbal and written contract as of July 03,2023 for a washing machine repair. **** charged my credit card on July 02, 2023 for the house call $93.59 and $265.64 for the *************** **** charged my card again July 20, 2023 $265.64 while no longer under written or verbal contract. Credit card fraud. I have called and gone in person to his store front. **** refuses to refund me. Keeps putting me off.Customer response

To whom it may concern, ******************* called us to do a service call/ diagnostic on his washer. Which we did on 7-3-23. And he paid ***** for that call. At that time we gave him the price for parts and labor to repair washer. ******************* approved the repair and was charged ****** for parts and labor to install parts into his washer which we did and the machine was fixed. Then about a month later ******************* called me and said he was charged twice for the repair. At that time I pulled his ticket and it only had one charge slip attached to it. Told him I would have to contact the processing company of the credit card machine. Once I called them I gave them all the info about this charge. They told me that sinse it was like 10 months ago they would have to research it and call me back. They called me back and said they found it. Gave me some excuse that when an update to the software was done that somehow *********************** charge was still in the memory and so it processed again on 7-20-23. I told them it needed to be corrected and they said it would be taken care of. I let ******************* know what they said and told him if he did not see the refund in like 7-10 business days to let me know so I could go back to the processor and follow up. And until you sent me this letter I did not know that the second charge had not been reversed. So I have put another call into the credit card machines company to try and get ******************* taken card of. If you have any more questions feel free to call me at the office ************. I am rejecting this response because: I made calls and I went inside the store in person! Until I get a check I dont want to close this complaint! **** saw my credit card statement!
