In September my husband and I called and attempted to close out our storage unit. We were informed that it would be taken care of. In October, we were charged for the unit along with late payments and lien notices. I called again and was told they would close out the unit. Once again it was not closed out and on November 25 I was charged $272 for the unit and late fees without my authorization. I reached out to uhaul via chat and was told someone would reach out to me in 1-3 business days. No one has reached out in the past month. I'm not sure what else to do. the head customer service removed my payment information from the account but the site manager will not close my account and is still showing past due balances. I have filed a claim with my bank regarding the payments but I want my account closed with uhaul but they will not close it.
