"F". I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER! THEY DON'T WORK WITH CUSTOMERS. WE HAD ************ TOUR WITH ********* MISSIONARIES, THEY DON'T MEET THEIR OBLIGATIONS. OUR PASTOR HAD PREVIOYSLY WORKED WITH THEM. AGAIN "F" RATING! Not even worth ONE STAR! MAYBE *****% STAR!!!Review from Daverna G

Still waiting for my cancelled ******/****** trip refund. It was promised 4-6 wks for refund to arrive. So far it has been 14 wks and counting. This was my 1st experience with EO Tours. There will not be another. When I posted my issue on their ******** site, they quickly deleted it. Calls to EO, they first stated refund was mailed, blaming the post office for the delay. Then 4 weeks later EO says it wasn't mailed at all. Now saying my check has been created and mailed again, blaming computer glitch for the delay. Through it all no email, phone or any communications providing status. I have to keep calling them.Customer Service failureReview from Darrell B

I booked a trip with a group from a friend's church to Israel through EO Tours. Had airline points so booked our own air and bought our own insurance. I chose not to use their insurance because in my opinion it didn't provide enough coverage. All my airline frequent flyer miles/points were redeposited w/o a charge and I got a full refund for the airfare I paid for on another ticket. I got a voucher for travel insurance from the insurance company I used. The church group shifted their tour to another date which we cannot make. Because I didn't use their insurance I will be penalized $100/person for canceling. A true "act of God" and they are unwilling to provide accommodations that other travel vendors are making with a simple call.Review from Mike M

Cancelled our trip because of Israel/Hamas War on the day the war started. We requested to cancel and get a full refund for the trip. Every customer service representative we talked to told us something different. We have now been waiting for three weeks for our refund check. When I contacted them today, they e-mailed me that it would be 4 to 6 weeks for a refund. I would not recommend traveling with this company because of their poor customer service. They obviously do not have enough employees to sufficiently run their business.Educational Opportunities Tours Inc. Response

Thank you for the time you have taken to share your experience. We can understand your concern for what is currently happening in Israel. We hope you can appreciate that the safety of our passengers and employees is our greatest priority, and we will not operate in a country that will place them in danger. The accuracy of information provided to our passengers is a high priority for our Guest Services Team, so we appreciate you sharing this concern. We were able to locate one call on October 9, 2023, where you requested the cancellation; the penalty amount was confirmed and the email address on file so the Guest Services Advocate could email the confirmation of the cancellation. This phone call took place within the first 48 hours of the incident and the information provided to you was the most up-to-date information and accurate that the refund would take 30 days (under normal circumstances). Based on the speed at which the Crisis progressed, and the overload in the system, we started notifying passengers cancelling during the week of October 16 and beyond that cancellation will take between 4 – 6 weeks. The information was not inaccurate when it was provided to you, it was updated based on the progress of the situation. This is the only call that we were able to find associated with your account. Being able to reach our Guest Services Team is critical in the passenger experience and very important to EO, especially during a travel crisis such as this. Similarly, to most Contact Centers we have acceptable service levels based on our average speed to answer calls and average time a passenger waited on hold before they released the call. For the month of October, we met our service level goals with average hold times below 5 minutes and the average time someone waited before opting to hang up was 44 seconds. If you would like to share additional information on the additional times you may have contacted us, we would be happy to review those calls to provide the appropriate feedback and coaching to anyone that may have provided inaccurate information. Poor Customer Service / Customer Communication We were booked under Educational Travel Services - their dba company. Same CEO. We were scheduled to leave 10.17.2023 for Israel Holy Land Trip. We have received very little substantial information. The same exact wording has been used on both corporate websites. Currently we are pending details on how to cancel because some internal department is in conversation with the Airlines (Swiss Air). We have connected with Swiss Air in person and they say no fees or charges to cancel... Slow walk responses From EOT, INC dba ETS. ??I have called other tour guides for some reference many were offering full refunds minus a reasonable fee. We can't even get a bottom dollar number of what those fees are if we cancel.Educational Opportunities Tours Inc. Response

Mr. ****, We have a limited number of staff in our air department and thousands of our travelers have been affected. We have been in touch with your travel advisor, Mrs. Melissa *******, and she has been grateful for our partnership. Yesterday we notified her there will be no additional cancellation fees beyond the $150 per passenger for your group. We have 4 different methods of ticketing and guest calling the airline does not necessarily equate to our specific contracts with the airline, which may not be handled the same way. Thankfully, the airline was able to waive your cancellation penalties. It will take 4-6 weeks to process refunds for those who choose to cancel, once the travel advisor fills out the required form. Thank you for the feedback. Since I posted my original review, I have received this information. I'm thankful for the appropriate response ETS has provided for those that can't reschedule. I would raise my star rating for providing a fair solution. However I do still hold the view that the communications were slower than they should have been. The return of funds also seems to be a slow process. After COVID and other world events I expected back up plans to be in place for any number of circumstances. There was multiple news accounts (see Travel Weekly's article on 10.10.2023) where companies made quick calls to cancel and refund customers. Again thank you for the overall correct response in providing a process for cancelation.Review from John W

Our church group booked a tour to Israel through Educational Opportunities Tours Inc. for February travel. October 7th, war broke out in Israel. Would you want to travel to Israel in this situation. With the situation as is, our leaders decided to cancel this trip and did so. We were then informed "We are so sorry to hear you are no longer interested in traveling with us at this time. The cancellation fee at this time is only $100 per passenger, as you are more than 105 days pre-trip and we have not purchased airline tickets." My wife and I were lost $200 . The alternative would have been to continue sending Educational Opportunities Tours Inc. money and then, based on the callousness of this company, most likely lose an even larger amount of our money. Our leaders made a wise decision cutting ties with this company early. Educational Opportunities Tours Inc is in this business solely for the money. Do yourself a favor, find another tour company to go with. If I could have left a ZERO star rating I would have.Review from Barbara S

I would give zero stars!!! I gave E0 an opportunity By asking if I could evaluate- no response so I'll do it here. Do not use this company!! This soon after Covid is not the time to crowd a bus with 45 people when the assumption of the travelers was that the group would be 17 ! nothing in the documents said this many people would be on the trip. To make matters worse a second bus with 45 people followed us around so when we disembarked from said bus it was a total of 85+ people. If you think you're going to be catered to With this many people, think again! There was no adequate way to create safe space between any of us and we drove six hours from Austria to Italy in a bus with no windows open. You can imagine what happened next. Within 48 hours everyone was coughing. One elderly gentleman ) Was hospitalized in Italy for 48 hours with Covid. Upon return to the US several people tested positive and one had to miss work for a week. That's the short story. Our guide was in a word terrible. We had several handicapped people in our group and by handicapped I mean walked a lot slower than everyone else, for various reasons that I don't need to get into here. Said People started to complain about the amount of walking, and her response was this is a tour there's going to be walking. I do happen to side with her on that one. If you can't get around in a normal fashion you need to pick a tour that is extremely small and accommodating for handicapped persons. Instead this small group of people held everyone back. However that did not give her the right to shame them for their slowness which she did several times. In every area the tour guides discussion on the area was anecdotal at best and not helpful in the least and not informative. This is an educational tour and we did not get educated. The best tour guides were the local ones . Unfortunately one would think that with 40+ people that our guide would stay with us at least to help bring up the rear. For the local gu
