**** picked up my tv for repair on thurs nov 3, 2022 aproximately 5pm.stated he would take it to his shop for further diagnosis and order parts which required additional paymentpaid him $114.00 which was all the cash I had as he said he did not take credit cards that monday he called and stated the parts were not available any more so the tv was not repairable.I called him Tuesday to ask for an itemized bill, he then asked for the remote and stand for the tv.he arrived about 5pm withe the bill and asked for more money for his time and the stand and remote.I asked him why would he need these things if the tv was trash. "I need them for another customer" was his response. when i accused him of not being honest he ran from the apartment.I got his listing from the samsung.com website.

Miss Choise agreed to pay $89.00 for the service call. When I arrived at her apartment, I realized that I needed to take the ** back with me to the shop. I informed Miss ****** that the estimate was going to be $50.00 and how we only accept cash or checks. She only had $114.00 with her but I still accepted meaning she only paid $25.00 for the estimate. I later found out that the parts for the ** were no longer available and Miss ****** agreed to dispose of the **. She later called me asking for an invoice saying that the problem with the ** was that it was caused by a power surge. I explained to her that this cannot be the reason since the ** is working but there is not picture displaying. Nonetheless, I still made the invoice saying that a power surge *** have possibly caused the problem. I went back to Miss ****** to give her the invoice where she stated that she wanted the money back when she already had only paid half of the estimate and wanted the ** back thinking I was going to sell it when actually I have to go to the landfill to pay for unusable **s to be disposed. I left her apartment when she started accusing me since I did not want to argue with her no further. I realized I had forgotten my phone and went back; she was not opening her door to let me get my phone. A neighbor nearby came out to see if there was a problem, and when I asked the neighbor if I could use his phone to call the police, Miss ****** opened her door, throwed my phone to the ground, and breaking my phone. Miss ****** came back the next day with the police for the ** which were in pieces.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
***** is not intirely truthful. the service call as he stated during my initial phone conversation was $79. after he arrived in my apartment he stated i had to pay for parts prior to determining exactly what the problem was. the total he then asked for was $150. it surprized me that he did not take credit cards. he accepted the cash i had $114. at this time he did not provide a receipt or invoice but gave me his business card with the amount i paid to him.

when he called to say the parts were not available, i agreed to dispose of tv. however when he requested the remote and stand I became suspicious.  i asked for a proper receipt when he was to pick up parts.

he arrived with the service order and added $40 pick up charge which had never been discussed. I told him that he owed me a refund for parts that were not available.  we argued about the charges and he continued to insist that I owed him for the estimate. there was never and estimate as to the cost of repair. ***** is not honest in the way he conducts business. I asked him if the tv cannot be repaired why do you want the stand and remote. he stated he needed them for another customer.  at that moment i called him a thief as did my girlfriend who was there on both interactions. ***** then ran down the steps and out of the apartment.

the next day i went to his shop to retrieve the tv. he insisted that the tv was in parts and he could not and would not give it to me. i called the police to retrieve my property.  the officer carried the 2 parts out to my car. the front glass was not returned even though when ***** showed me the tv the glass was there.
      Sincerely,
