      I brought my 1988 Mustang to Auto Styles for them to perform a few tasks, such as tint, carpet install, door panel install, center console, USB. During my findings after I drove the car home, I kept finding many things that were not done correctly. They did not double check any of their work performed. I first had to go back because my radio did not work, which was due to a blown fuse. This should have been double checked. Other major issues I am concerned about is that they did not use the correct screws when installing the door panels. The used drywall screws, which should have not even been a thought to be used. They should have used short, sheet metal screws. Since they used drywall screws, it caused issues with moving my windows up and down, causing it to get stuck. One door panel was also missing the padding and insulation. Another issue discovered was that my seats were not put back in correctly. They were not screwed down all the way. The bolts were only turned a couple of times and I was able to move my seat by hand back and fourth. They also installed two USB ports, which were not working. The wiring to them is not accessible. Overall, all of the labor done on my car was done in a horrible manner and I had to redo everything myself and buy more material and use my own time.

      This vehicle was in our shop for many months due to the extensive work that was performed. When **** first contacted us regarding the improper screws that were used, we looked into it and acknowledged that the screws that were used where the original ones from when the car came in and should not have been put back in. That was clearly our fault, and we discussed that with the installer. We asked **** to bring the car back into our store and we would certainly go over any issues that he had. He stated that he was in ************** and did not want to wait until he would be back in town and was going to do the work himself. That is certainly his option but that does not mean that we owe him $1200 for what wouldve taken us 30 minutes to correct. I cannot speak to whether his seats were tightened down correctly or not. I can tell you that weve been doing custom work for over 25 years and this is the first time that someone has said their seats were not tightened. It is worth noting that he came back to the store after two weeks to have us make an minor adjustment and never mentioned having an issue with the seats. Im assuming he drove it around for two weeks without noticing that his seats were loose. The fact that he chose to go away and did not want to have us perform whatever necessary repairs were needed does not entitle him to a refund. My general manager was trying to discuss this with him via email and **** chose to file this complaint and attempt to do a credit card charge back. We have had an A+ rating for approximately 15 consecutive years because we stand behind all of our work. Issues will occasionally arise no matter how many times you double check your work, however, there does need to be some reasonableness on both sides to achieve an equitable outcome.
