Lighthouse promised to get my debts in one place pay them a certain amount each month in a reduction of total owed These were credit cards student loans. 350 was being taken out of my ach every month yet no resolution I continued getting calls from creditors etc. I called Lighthouse multiple times no answer unable to reach a live person. I called global holdings since they were the company debited from my bank. They gave me the run around I needed to contact Lighthouse they were the company that handled my account. This is so frustrating due to being on limited income.Initial Complaint

Attempted to use this company in 2019 for student loan forgiveness. Paid them **** dollars to file my application and had very little contact with them afterwords. The few times I did have contact with them they never had any updates *** just kept saying no news is good news. Since 2020 I've sent multiple emails with no response and recently I've called all their numbers and they have been disconnected. One of the numbers I called and got a voice-mail and left a message and someone called me back saying he had just got this number in Sept and that the business I was looking for was not his and that he has received numerous amout of calls looking for lighthouse. I would like a refund of my money that I paid to this fraudulent company for doing nothing.Initial Complaint

This started on 8/14/2019 and I filled out documentation and gave them my taxes and set up payment arrangements for a total of $1500 which I completed paying in 2021. I have the emails from the girl that I was communicating with and I believe she is still using the same email. I am attaching screen shots of emails and documentation I filled out.Initial Complaint

I signed up for "Lighthouse" to help get rid of my student loans. University of Phoenix made 5 different loans without my knowledge. UoP also said they'd email me with jobs, they failed to do so. "Lighthouse" was suppose to help me. I paid over $4,000 & then some for them to help. They said that I was approved to not have to pay back any of my loans. However, I have not heard anything from them in a few months. I got scammed with one company "SLAC" (student loan assistant center.) I paid well over $10,000 to them & not one penny was paid for my loans. I was paying their fee. I am extremely upset about this. I would like for all my loans (which I did not approve upon or sign for any loan!) I'd like to have all my loans dropped & get my money back from these scammers.Initial Complaint

This is a continuation of my last one as I didn't have enough space to explain the rest. So, they move my household goods in about halfway, didn't open the packages, or put anything back to the original stage. Then one of them came and told me they have another job to go to and so they have to move the rest into my one-car garage. I can't make them do anything as I have plenty of spaces in my 4 bedroom home and two spaces down in the basement. After my check cleared the following week, I contacted them to please deliver the second truck to my storage. Multiple texts, calls, and emails went unanswered. I finally contacted Ohio consumer fraud, and the office of the Attorney General sent them a letter, that's when they contacted me and got pretty angry and wonder why I need to contact the AG. They then gave me the name and address of storage that is not the one I paid for. I spoke to Jackie, she told me all I need to do is go and pay for the storage fee and they will transfer it to my name. I checked with the storage and was told they don't transfer ownership. The original person who rents the storage needs to be there with me to sign the paper, not over the phone. They also getting ready to auction off my items which cost me $10,000 per truck, so I have that much money paid to them plus my items in the storage. I contacted them again and as of today, I received no response. Also, a lot of items we opened to put together were damaged my TV cracked. I was told I need to file a claim only one time. I can only open less than half in my house, and the other half is in the garage I can hardly able to check them all plus the ones in the storage. I can't afford to let the storage auction off my stuff fas I can pay for the rental if it's in my name. This is the worse nightmare of moving. My husband passed away after 2 and a half years fighting cancer, and I moved to be close to my children and grandchildren. I have more documents and pictures as well. Sincerely.
