*********************** IS A SCAM OR INCOMPETENT. DO NOT USE On August 8th we paid the ********** of *********************** to perform some tasks which he claimed he knew how to do. This was the worst decision ever made. From the time we paid until 2 months later, the entire process was like dealing with a ghost or pulling teeth. He would ask us the same questions to stall, disappear for weeks, & when we would finally track him down (by calling from a number he didn't recognize) he'd make some excuse of why we werent moving forward. At some point I thought ******* had died & was genuinely concerned, but when we'd call from a number he didnt know he would answer immediately with Oh hi, um blah blah blah and sounded like a child we caught doing something they werent supposed to be doing, because he didnt know it was us calling. Then came the excuse, the false promise, & then more ghosting. At some point he forwarded some documents that were just basic templates and when we asked him to complete the forms and we setup a meeting he never showed, he then stopped answering my calls, stopped answering my texts, and never responded to my e-mail when I asked what happened. The hilarious part was one time we called him asking to complete the forms and We called him TWENTY TIMES with no answer. We would then call him from a different *********** would pickup immediately (proving he was dodging our calls). We had an attorney reach out and same thing, he picked up made some excuse of why he wasnt doing anything, then when our attorney called back he stopped answering. You are better off lighting your money on fire and smashing your head against a wall for two months vs. giving your money to *********************** or IRA VILLAGE.I'm hoping he's just incompetent and not a scam. If so I feel really sorry for him.

On June 2, 2023 *********************** from IRA Village agreed to complete drafting and recording of 2 deeds at $450 each and trust recommendations at $150 for a total of $1,050. He requested this be sent to him by ***** which I did send to him on June 6th. I did not hear from him and asked him for status updates with no response until finally on July 17th he finally responded saying he had been ill and would call me. Again no communication. On July 27th I let him know that I was sorry to hear he had been ill but to please refund our money so we can have the work completed with someone else. At that time he responded and said he would call me the next day at 3pm. He did not call but said he would call the next day at noon. He did not call. On Aug 2nd he send an email saying he would have the titles transferred that week and would call me by noon that day. He made some recommendations by email that included an additional $300 fee and asked me to forward then he would complete. I asked for a completion date and he did not respond. On Aug 24th I emailed him saying I would not advance any more funds until the original work was completed. Again, no response. I called him on Oct 2th asking for refund. He said he would complete the work and would call me the next day at noon. He did not call. I have made several calls since then and he has not answered my calls. I have requested refund through Zelle which he has not responded to.

I have offered to complete the assignment but I have not heard from my client. I still offer to complete the assignment at client's request.  The assignment had not been completed because of confusing instructions from client as to what they wanted.  I will complete the assignment if client wants me to and upon clarification from  client as to what exactly has been done. In absence of that I will refund client's deposit.

      Customer response

      06/13/2024

There was no confusion as to what the contracted assignment was, as clearly shown in the emails submitted. We made several attempts to contact *********** for resolution, without response.  It has been a year, we have had the work completed by another attorney so asking again for a full refund of $1,050 paid to *********** with no work completed.
